Tech-Noir
Too much QTE, but I love a Spider-Man game. Spiderman: A Telltale Series As lovely as it looked, that was WAY too much QTE. FullMetal
Jason
Too much QTE, but it looks fun hopefully outside the story missions it's not so super scripted. Not disappointed by it though. The conference overall though.. I expected more. They showed of the games we expected and nothing more really, and not only that it was almost entirely stuff they showed last year and it's all STILL not out this year. Meh E3 for me. Fireman
Everything was a bit mweh and so was Sony, but it still had by far the most games you might someday want to play because they are not embarrassingly bad. FullMetal
I dont see how Microsoft won this E3. EA played it way too safe and Microsoft thinks they have enough with just their Xbox One X. Sony shows they try to get enough Third party games in their camp and at the same time offer enough real exclusives for their platform. That might be being too comfortable with their market lead but knowing they didnt even show all they have in store speaks volumes. (Death Stranding, The Last of Us) edit: Fireman you are right. This whole E3 so far has been quite boring actually. No big new IP announcements or real scoops. Either playing it too safe or blueballing some more of the already announced and upcoming titles. Jason
I mentioned it earlier, but I think it's fair to say E3 2018 is going to be off the chain. Almost everything interesting/big shown this year is for 2018. Going to be a great year for games, but this year is going to be the same old with CoD, Destiny, Battlefront, AC and sports games. Mister Pink
Fishing With Emos.. looks like fun! Detroit reminded me of Deus Ex, visually and thematically. Could be interesting. Spiderman looks like fun. Other than that I wasn't super impressed and the crowd there didn't seem to impressed either. Not a huge fan of zombie games but Days Gone looks pretty decent. You could say the same about Microsoft? oh they just didn't show all they have in store! but it doesn't really work like that. Microsoft had Metro, they had Crackdown, they Anthem and the debut for AC Origins and a whole new system to showcase no matter what you think of said system. What Sony brought to the biggest stage in the industry is something i'd expect out of their Sony show in February or a smaller event like Gamescom. This pales in comparison to their last year show and doesn't stack up to their competitor's show yesterday.
Rafae
This is reminiscent of five years ago.. Fireman
Few release dates, few new games, no new IPs at all I don't think. Well Anthem was new I suppose and the PC Gaming Show/Microsoft had some indie crap. Yeah, dissapointing, might as well watch Nintendo now. This whole E3 so far has been quite boring actually. No big new IP announcements or real scoops. Either playing it too safe or blueballing some more of the already announced and upcoming titles. Microsoft got great titles too, just not as popular and hyped ones like Sony. Crackdown 3 is a big thing for me personally, and finally having more footage and a release date for Cuphead. Anthem is huge because Bioware sh*t the bed with Andromeda, and it finally shows the power of the Xbox One X. Then there was original Xbox backwards compatibility. Only thing that bothered me was all the indie games. Some indie games are great hidden gems, but I don't want to see those at E3. They honestly stalemated with Sony on that due to Sony showing all the VR titles that no one asked for. Then little bonuses like showing more State of Decay 2 which was huge for me personally, but I could see as average to many others. So really Microsoft E3 was Xbox One X focused along with some nice titles and new features. Modojo
It was disappointing to not see TLOU II and Death Stranding but it's understandable that they are still working on it. Detroit was a bit questionable for me (looks like it tries to attain the feel of Heavy Rain but at the same time the general plot of it feels bleak). The new GoW. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and Shadow of the Colossus mostly caught my attention throughout the show.
Kirsty
I love the video game hype but overall not taken with a huge amount shown at E3 this year. Games that I want to play are Horizon Zero Dawn DLC, Uncharted Lost Legacy and Life is Strange prequel. A few others like Days Gone look interesting but I'll wait for more gameplay first. Everything else not personally interested in. I'll just be over here waiting for more RDR2 and TLOU2 news. FullMetal
