Very good but why didn't you use 3d engine model from iOS/Android version or even one from san andreas? I think it's more suitable for remastered version than III looking 2d engine.

iOS/Android doesn't use any 3D engine at all. Every model is just retextured.

I was wondering what you guys are doing about the timecycle and blur effect. The timecyc.dat from the mobile version obviously differs from the PS2 data and it actually looks kinda broken with all those negative values in there. PS2 VCS has two post effects, radiosity and blur. LCS only has the blur, which is also some sort of color filter using values from the timecycle. I recently implemented both effects in skygfx but they most likely won't stay there as I don't have the timecycle values controlling them in SA. This is the radiosity (irrelevant for LCS): https://github.com/aap/skygfx/blob/master/src/postfx.cpp#L182and this is the blur: https://github.com/aap/skygfx/blob/master/src/postfx.cpp#L282

I have now implemented a VCS timecyc.dat in VCSPC and have the radiosity effect controlled by it. I did notice that the timecycle ambient light as well as the vertex colors are in PS2 color range (where 128 = 1.0) so I also implemented a new building pipeline and now everything looks like on PS2. I hope this information is helpful to you somehow.

You can do a better job than that. At least match the font and colours.

 

Also it's supposed to be "CUMING SOON", ...get it, it's porn district.

 

edit: The font on that poster actually looks like it's the pager font from VCS, just saying.
