It was good at the beginning but now I'd rather have it die than continue living.So what if DYOM's still running? I'd rather have a dead dyom than a dyom run by newbies with godawful skills and grammar. They just need some time with us to understand about dyom. Everyone is same who comes new here and they just need a little time with us to understand what is dyom and how to live here. Instead of making excuses about newbies, you should tell them that how to work here. That will make the newbie better. The deadline must be extended only if there were no enough Participants, Besides, 27 hours (1 day, 3 hours and 30 minutes) from now are enough to make a Mission pack.
