Italian producer Robert Miles has passed away after an unknown illness. He was 47. He was known for his track Children and had other hits across Europe with some mild success in Canada and USA.

Such a terrible shame. Miles was a pioneer and his influence on other musician-producers such as Matt Darey and Paul Van Dyk is legendary.

Robert Miles basically kickstarted the melodic/dreamy Trance genre all by himself. He was an incredible producer and definitely did influence a lot of artists from the time. It's a really great loss, RIP.
