Wait, how much is Gunrunning gonna cost? My character only has $.70 to his name and I need money.pls halp with fleek joeb.

 

guys, these special double$ events have nothing to do with upcoming updates.

when was this ever the case?

rockstar don't care about how much money you have/earn before a certain update.

they keep rotating special event weeks in between real updates to keep the community busy playing.

of course always some time after a special event week there will come a new update some time but this is still random and accidental and there is no direct connection between updates and event weeks.

so please stop interpretating any connection into events "preparing" the players wallets for new expensive things from updates.

 

by the way it totally contradicts the thesis that rockstar make all the new things very expensive because they want us to buy more shark cards.

if this was true why in the world would they give us extra free money in these double events?

yes, you are right, i really didn't get it as a joke.

because in every single thread about one of these double events there are some people who claim that such an event is just to prepare the players wallets for new very expensive things although rockstar don't care about that at all.

i just thought that you would be the first one of those people in this thread, sorry.

Well this suits me just fine as I've only just started hosting all the heists with my latest Char (level 110). I've been putting them off for a while as there's been plenty to keep me busy over the last month or two. I'm on PC so if anyone wants to hook up in an invite only session and earn some Moolah, just PM me.

 

Time zone is Oz but wont be on until tomorrow but I always give 25% for finale's.

Apparently the setup costs for all heists are also doubled.

 

Can anyone confirm?

I kind of wished Rockstar announced this one in advance but I really can't complain. Me and my friends have been wanting double money and RP in heists for a long time.

It should be said though that the helicopter is not a reliable method, as it tends to despawn when you restart the heist.

 

Though it is still possible and it is still reliable to "save" NPC vehicles, depending on which car you pick you can leave the bank and reach the bikes faster.

It don't despawn when you restart the heist.

That's how you keep it, you have to restart.

50% of the share is 147k, full reward is 284k.

Level 455 here, I have played and hosted every single heist and setup since they came out.

I also own, and use the heavy vest and armored kuruma whenever is feasible, as mostly a precaution.
