Course I find the rank bit to be pretty pointless. How high your rank is depends more on how much you done things that awarded RP, and its made more pointless when you got double RP events that boosts you a great deal if utilized to the fullest. I often times just screw around in free roam from time to time, like launching myself in the air in the countryside with my Rocket Voltic being one of my entertaining time killers. Helps prevent burnout by getting into some unstructured shenanigans that does not revolve around grinding for money and RP.
