Rowdy61
I just built a new rig. Had a quad core 4.0ghz in it. Cpu was maxing out so bought a fx8120 8 core. My question is my pc all done will have asrock extreme 3 mb Amd fx 8120 8core pros Gtx970 video Bfg 550watt power. With the quad core I had a shutter from cpu 100%. So with this new 8120 am I in good shape for a smooth gameplay?

Rowdy61
Forgot to add ram 24gbs Thanks for reply. Some people say quad to 8 core is better some don't. I just do t like the shutter on qual core. Gta 5 was topping out a bit causing a shutter. Hoping the 8 core can run it 50 70 cpu no shutter.
P2FX
FX CPUs are weak, I would rather have a Ryzen system instead.
HaRdSTyLe_83
more cores doesnt mean better performance, most games are optimized for 4 cores, thats why the 7700k still gets better results at gaming then any Ryzen
