Do you guys think the original post of the topic is sufficient enough? Should anything else be added?

Looks fine to me you've added all of the most importance info, I don't really know what else could be added to it really.

Alrighty then =) If you guys think something is missing just let me know via a post here or a PM.

I'm not too phased with the Original Post, but since release dates are mentioned, and if you are wanting to add extra information maybe the Australian release date could be listed also.

P.T Silent Hills is being removed from PSN so be sure to get it ASAP.

Hell yeah I got it before it was removed. Now I'm going to wait 10 years and get rich by selling my PS4 with P.T.

I got a Venom rechargeable Battery Pack for my PS4 controller the other day. I'm really happy with it.

Sup guys!

So, my nephew is locked out his PS4. I don't know why, but he now has a system pass code activated, you know the one where it has to be a combo of controller buttons. And he doesn't know what he put, I don't know if he did it or one of his sh*thead friends trolled him and put it via the shareplay thing, but I was wondering if there's a way to removing it without reseting his system.

Can't remember if the default password is 4 square or 4 circles. Try that

Has anyone else as of recently been having issues with PSN, like it saying that its temporarily busy and the messages & friends list just disappear?

For the third night in a row exactly at 12am est time, i can't connect to PSN and it takes til 7am for it to kick back on and i tried restarting my console along with resetting my router and no luck at all, i keep getting error codes popping up, what exactly is causing this?

I've not had any issues with PSN lately, sorry I can't help.

Five free games for PS Plus this month! I'm pretty happy with that, "Guacamelee!" and "Ether One" are really good, though I had to restart "Ether One" due to a bug, but I think it's patched up now.

Even if you guys don't plan on playing them it's alwaysa good idea to download them anyways because if you do they'll always be free for you as long as you have PS+ so once they go back to full price you can download them later on and play them at no charge.

You don't even have to download them, just add them to your libary and you can get them whenever you want.

Is it just me experiencing this or are there other people? I try to upload a pic to Twitter (283kb) and it tries take 4 hours then fails. Restarted the console and also restarted the router. Also cleared my uploads list. But now it's taking 6 minutes to upload but again, fails.

It's been happening lately and it's pretty annoying.

Wish Playstation would come out with a compansion app like the XB Smart Glass app, I like being able to control my XB1 with my iPad and my controller is charging or being used by one of my girls playing a game on PC i can still control my XB1 using the app.

I'm pretty sure there's some sort of mobile app for ps4 (or maybe just PSN), though I don't have it myself, maybe it's just for Sony mobiles? may be what you're looking for, my friends say they send messages, pictures and stuff through PSN with mobile phones.

I upgraded my HDD to 2TB (now PT is gone from my system forever!), anyone else use the Samsung 2TB from inside a seagate backup plus slim enclosure? If so do you experience the occasional beep from the HDD? I've looked into it and I'm not too worried at all, as it's rare and seems the norm.

Yeah that's the Playstation App and that's all it does, The Smart Glass app lets you control your XB1 remotely meaning anything you can do with the controller you can do with the app.

Hey guys don't know if I should post this here, but here goes.

After 2 months of saving up enough money, I finally have enough to get a ps4 :D I've played it a lot at my cousin, but right now, I really don't know if I should get a PS4 or just get a good pc. I have about R12 000 ($1100) I'll mostly be playing offline, (don't have WiFi at home) but I'll play online with first person shooters through my cellphone.

I don't really like how pc games have this thing where u have to be connected to the internet to play your games. I know A LOT of games don't have this, but its still an issue for me if the game I buy has this stupid DRM policy :/

So should I get a PS4 with a sh*tload of games, or a beefy pc?

Thanks in advance :D

Go with a PS4. If you had an optimal internet connection or played a lot of online games, I would definitely recommend a PC, but you don't. PS4 is a great bang for the buck. The APU is essentially an HD 7870 or R9 240 graphics card.

Besides, consoles are the bottleneck and mass market target of game development, and because of that, games will always be optimized for console. People buy gaming PC's because they're enthusiasts, and they enjoy fiddling around with graphic settings, hardware, etc. They're also considered a niche market, so nothing is guaranteed to work properly on PC, even though a game can perform a hundred times better on one.

Yah that was what I was thinking. A lot of games aren't really optimized for pc and the online thing. But the specs that I was going for was this :

Intel Core i5 - 4690K 3.5GHz QuadCore

CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Motherboard - Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150

RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Video Card - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE G1 Gaming

Power Supply - EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX

Yeah, that's definitely more powerful than a PS4. It depends, if you enjoy custom things like PC hardware, then maybe get a PC. I'd take that set-up any day over a PS4, but a PS4 is much more practical in terms of cost and the assurance of games working as intended.

For example, I keep seeing a ton of people complaining about mods on GTA Online for PC. Well, what did they honestly expect? That's the assurance that the current-gen consoles have. No one has been able to jailbreak either console yet.

People who don't live in the main cities? People with stupidly low download limits. People who don't give a sh*t about online games. In other words...more people than you think.

I doubt VR will catch on. Any time you require consumers to buy or wear some sort of extra peripheral, it usually doesn't go well. If you wanna try VR, wait until the Oculus Rift is made available for PC. At which point, it will just be an overpriced device for enthusiasts. Even Samsung and Razr have their own VR headsets.

You're better off waiting until curved 3D high-res monitors that don't require glasses hit mass production. That technology will be more than practical, but it's still in its infancy.

What I think is truly impressive is the Kinect technology built by Microsoft, but this, too, has been unsuccessful. Casual consumers just don't like periphery devices.

People that purchase X1 or PS4 and doesn't have a good, strong, fast internet connection is really just kicking themselves in the as*. Its just not cosoles, its everything. From your smart phone to even your cable/sat. provider, you need a constant internet connection. I'm not saying its your fault that technology passed your town up, but anyone that buys a new console and doesn't have the constant strong internet connection, I only got one comment.........................

I tried the Rift but it didn't feel right at the time, it needed 4k monitors in it, which they did, but they said it won't be out until 2016 and Valve's will be out later this year. So who knows, I'm sure it'll be a strong insertion into the gaming world but feels like just another fad. Kind of like 3D, they started it by putting it into tvs but seems like its not gonna go far, and curved tvs? Idk the viewing angles on those are terrible.

Not everyone can afford fast internet services.
