Still hoping that Sony will add an incognito mode of some sort for the console.

 

You know, those awkward moments when you don't want some of your friends to know you're online, yet they do and they spam you with party invitations and messages.

 

Then you turn them down and you feel kinda mean afterwards...

Some people on my friends list spam me with auto aim invites. They should feel bad for sending them.

Anyone else experiencing the notification bug? Sometimes when you receive a message, the notification does not pop up in the left hand corner. It's pretty annoying.

^I haven't really noticed that yet but I have noticed every time I turn on the PS4 it gives me a "discovery" notification or something like that, that is kinda annoying me because I think that a game or app is updating when really its not. Now if the PS4 will let me play HBO GO I will be pretty happy. I read an article a while back but I can't remember if it has something to do with my cable provider or on the PS4 end. Not sure. Don't get me wrong, HBO GO works perfectly on Xbox One which I can just use it there. But, just saying.

 

Comcast are as sly as they get though. About a month and a half before the HBO NOW service was offered to the public for $14.99 a month, Comcast calls me for a promotional deal. They gave me double my internet speed and HBO for a year for just $3 more dollars a month. I was running around average 25 mbps at the time, I'm big on Game of Thrones as well. So of course I said yes. I don't even use the cable box because I already have Dish Network. So its just sitting still in the box, I did it for HBO of course. I can't complain though, on average now, I'm running around 95 mbps, so yeah it almost quadrupled my speed. But I aint' telling them that. LOL. Just goes to show you though, cable providers are trembling in there tracks from the likes of services like Netflix, HBO Go, HBO NOW and others.

To anyone who hasn't got Bloodborne yet, I have a simple message. Get it! It's def the first must have exclusive of this generation. The gameplay, while initially tricky is incredible. I'm 50 hours in and only about 2/3 of the way through, (I think) so it delivers on the VFM front. In fact, I'm enjoying it so much that when I finish, I'm immediately going to start it again.

Yep, right now for me life has 2 phases. I'm either playing Bloodborne or thinking about playing Bloodborne. I'm even regularly dreaming about it.

 

well done on befriending Djura. I just took the easy option and knocked him off the tower. Means you get a cool emote though.

It's you're provider as i have AT&T U-Verse and i have no issues running HBO GO on PS4

I did find that the Forbidden Woods was a little confusing at first. But after scaling for around 30 mins. I finally got the whole area memorized. Lots of goodies in that area. Now getting ready to take on the boss.

I'm not good with this DIY stuff but i also have two controllers so when one dies i can just use the second one while the first one is charging.

 

I bought a docking station back around Novemeber they had one on sale for $5.99 so when battery dies i just set it on the dock and it charges it up pretty fast around 2 hours or so i have a full battery.

^^ I have the second one and it works fine with PS4 (I've had some issues with it but all gone after resetting!). It works also with any USB port, so it will work perfectly with your PC or TV.

I'd say go with the newer model since the price is similar. >>

Get the Elite headset the sound quality compared to the other two is amazing and they'll work with anything not just PS3 you can plus it into your computer and use wireless headset to watch movies on your PC and ect.

I have the Gold headset and it's alright, pretty damn comfy and all.. batteries last around 7 hours or so (sometimes it feels faster than that), works on PC/PS4/PS3/Mobile (with the proper equipment, which comes in the box), sound quality is top-notch especially thanks to the companion app that you can download on your console.

 

Only issue I have is that as you can see from the picture posted above of the headsets, it has some fold-able feature... which you might think is cool and all, but it actually broke for me after almost 3 months of using it which was expected the first time I unboxed it.

 

I'd definitely go for the Pulse headsets, I had the original one a couple of years ago and it served me well. I might actually go back to using it sometime in the future when the Witcher 3 releases.

All of these headsets you listed have mics, some of them are just hidden on the bottom side.

 

As for differences, I have no idea since according to their site.. it just has a custom sound option (Made for GTA V) which makes GTA V sound better than before.

Just get the regular Pulse Elite ones don't worry about the a GTA V one you are really just paying extra for a logo and the extra mode is really no difference than any other modes in the compansion app.

 

But i will war you with the Pulse they do have a tendecy to break where the round thing is my suggestion to you would to buy them @ Best Buy and pay for the $20 Best Buy warranty so if something happens you can just take it to the store and they'll replace it while Sony warrant make you send it into them and they'll repair it instead of giving you a brand new set

Try changing the limit from 15 to 5 minutes and see if it still does it, If it doesn't then switch it back to 15 minute and everything should be fine.
