Broken Mini-map PS4

I like to play with an expanded mini-map so I can see danger coming from afar. But in close combat situations you benefit from the normal sized mini-map. So I switch between them regularly through the settings.

 

I just switched back from normal to expanded and suddenly I don't see streets anymore, only map-icons.

I've been doing this switching for years now and never had this issue. Tried restarting PS4 to clear cache but nothing...

 

So, anybody ever had this problem and know how to fix this? Or should I contact Rockstar about this?

This happened to me sometimes on PS3 where online has lots of lag in full open lobbies. Sometimes i could not even open the regular map because of lag.

 

My only issue with the mini map on PS4 is that it is difficult to see the blue line when setting a destination. The map is too translucent and there is not enough contrast between the shade of blue and surroundings. Black or midnight blue lines would help. The yellow lines are easy to see.

Turns out I was just being a bit retarded. A random youtuber came to my rescue. I guess I'll stop sh*tting on youtubers for a while now...
