What? You can have two characters in GTA:O, likely be the same in RDR:O too.

I know that. I have two characters in GTA:O. I meant that for the Online version of RDR2, not GTA Online.

Sorry if my quote on that caused a sort of misunderstanding..

The ability to scalp enemies and keep them as trophies - perhaps with a dialogue option where the protagonist recounts how they killed each victim.

It was a vastly different world to our own, with far different morals. In the West, they scalped, in New York, you could pay for drinks with human ears.

Ok here's something that may be a bit far fetched...

I'd like to have a second screen on either a tablet or phone that has the map and some other local attractions. Pausing the screen to take a quick look breaks the immersion. Guess you could always have a map with the game itself, but who buys the box anymore? It's all downloaded nowadays. Anyways, I could be dreaming...

An actual physical map that the player has to take out, and you mark locations that you've discovered on it.

Think something like Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, where Chloe has to look at a map in real time.

thats all for the online mode:

texas holdem poker (tournaments)

very complex horse breed mechanic. sell and buy unique horses with big differenes in qualiy and looks

a freeroam map that doesnt show other players (except your friends)

pc release at the same day as console crap

complex house building to create your unique hideout/home

cool heists that are similar to gta online

Instead of looting, you have to pick up the corpses of bounty targets and take them back to the sheriff's office. This would add another layer of immersion for me.

Didn't RDR1 already have this? Or am I thinking of another game. Or was it only when they were alive?

You lasso them when they're alive. When they're dead, you loot their body for "evidence" of the kill.

Ahhh, I'm all for that then. It'd be great if you stack multiple corpses in a cart and wade them through town too.

I wanna see a random hanging in town and you could choose to save the poor old bastard or let him hang. This was a random moment in Red Dead Redemption but I wanna see this in towns not out in the sticks. Maybe, a group of townsfolk yelling at this hanging criminal and maybe spitting and heckling them too all while the executioner is yelling out his crimes he committed until he gives the order.

Executioner: "Wanted in 3 counties for murder, propositioning prostitution, armed robbery, blah, blah, blah... to be hanged by the neck until death, proceed!"

I want to see scalping, dual-wielding, improved melee combat like in Uncharted 4 and TLOU, and crouching. Also I would like to see swimming, crouching, and the ability to pull out a gun from our sleeves just like Django Unchained.

They have to keep the Mexican standoffs they had in RDR. Those FFA rounds with full players were the sh*t!

-Refined melee. Because quite frankly it was sh*t in RDR. Bar brawls are a staple of the old west. This needs to be done right this time. Let Arthur smash people's heads into tables, smash them with whiskey bottles etc.

-Barbershop customisation. As I alluded to in the Aurther Morgan thread there should be some basic customisation in this regard relevant to the period.

-Back up. Like San Andreas and GTA IV. Since we're apart of a gang this time I think we should be able to have back up come with us.

I would like to have seasons for both story mode and online. And for online would love it if almost everything is do able in freeroam (no loadingscreens).

Piggsy pls

Since there's alligators, usable canoes (apparently), and a huge swampy area in the game, I hope we can swim this time, especially since they made sure to include a shot in the trailer of Arthur and two other guys wading through the bayou. Hope fishing is in, as well.

I'm sure this is a small one for most but a color blind mode would be nice. Or at least just change the "GPS Line" to a different color. In Redemption 1 I often times can't see the red line that appears when you set your own waypoint.

Better fight mechanics. GTA IV fighting was damn amazing, just watching the NPCs fight was a blast!

Also, remove that damn instant death when you go in water.

1 main character. Kendrick Lamar is sick and tired of the photoshop, well I am sick and tired of having 3 main protagonists in Rockstar sandbox games. Personally I found it didn't allow for a good character development which is what I felt happened in GTA V. For real, I like associating a game with 1 character like how GTA iv was Niko, GTA SA was CJ, and so on. Personally I hated that switching character scheme, and I know I may be one of the few :)

Given the age they lived in, and Arthur Morgan's clear scumbaggery, it would be interesting if you could contract horrible diseases from prostitutes, affecting how he looked during the game.
