CatPhuckers
This is more of a concept, I believe it could be a reality with coding. However, coding is something I don't have much knowledge about. Would it be possible to create GTA:CTW Online by hosting an online game (on DS/Android/PSP) then using cheats to make the objectives/timer/objective elements disappear and maybe even changing player limits? I think it would bring more people into the GTA:CTW community. Fluxion Cavalier
No. As Chinatown Wars was never released for anything other than PSP/Android/iOS, a multiplayer option for this game would be extremely impractical. The game clearly wasn't designed for multiplayer. Second, nobody would play it. Why? Because why would I want to play a scaled down version of GTA IV in multiplayer, with some crappy top-down view, when I could be having much more fun in GTA IV multiplayer or GTA V Online? That's essentially what it is. Third, multiplayer requires servers, which are computer operated. Cell phones/PSPs/tablets do not operate servers. And you certainly can't download "mods" for your games on a cellphone, like you can on a PC. Fourth and finally, CTW (for obvious reasons), isn't very popular, compared to other games in the series. A NDS cart was also released for this title, btw, It featured an over the air WiFi multiplayer option. 1 minute ago, maggy666 said: A NDS cart was also released for this title, btw, It featured an over the air WiFi multiplayer option. **and it featured SanLiberty and Wolff 2 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/886803-gtactw-online/#findComment-1070748688 Share on other sites

GrudgefromSanAndreas
you have some kind of ad hoc multiplayer up to a few players, i believe 4. but wifi doesnt really work here more info people should really read wikis of their favourite games first then ask if they dont find what they need btw coding on nds is inconvenient Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/886803-gtactw-online/#findComment-1070851467 Share on other sites
Gunbladelad
You can still play this online on the DS using the Nintendo Wifi workarounds that are available - a websearch will reveal how to get it back online - but it's really just entering a specific DNS address into the DS's connection settings.
