Can't go further in gta online!

i have level 18 and in online story mode- when Trevor calls and his sidekick Ron gives me first mission, i failed and leave the game, after that Ron never calls me to give this mission again. What i do wrong?

That kind of patience isn't going to get you far in GTAO. Anyway, after Googling this it seems that he will eventually call you again, but a quicker way is to join a random/friend invite to a Ron job.

How to join?

When you're in freeroam you will get invites popping up on your screen that you join via the phone. Look for Ron missions. Or you can get a friend to start a mission from the pause/jobs menu and invite you. I don't think the survival has anything to do with it.

If you were to bring up your phone and call Ron you can request him to send you a mission or job. You can also pause the game, go to online, select jobs and select missions.

ok i really don't know what to do. so i deleted my first character, created another- did all mission AGAIN (spend 4 days)- To Trevor- when he callls i go in his house - cutscene,-then Ron calls and give me survival mission in industrial plant. i did that mission and ... game just stops? no calls, no new missions from phone, no new cutscenes? i'm i missing something or its the end of this game?

You still haven't even done a tenth of what is available. But don't mistake Online for being GTAV single-player story mode. You have to pick what to do next yourself.

-You can call any of the contacts to give you a mission.

-You can accept invites from other players to join them in a variety of jobs.

-Go to Benny's and you will get a few more missions.

-Start up jobs by going to pause menu>online>jobs

-Buy a CEO office and/or an MC clubhouse to get a multitude of new missions.

-Buy an apartment or house to set up heists.

-Participate in freeroam challenges

-Do gang-attacks, rob stores and do stunt jumps all over the map.

-Go to the shooting range, play some tennis, arm-wrestle, hit a round of golf or relax at the strip-club.

 

Still plenty of stuff for you to do!

Far from the end of the game my friend, it pretty much goes on and on. Plenty of missions, from the SP Characters, other R* Created/Verified jobs, a load to do in freeroam, I mean the list goes on. You mentioned you were rank 18. I'm either 444 or 445 now, so much to do, get money and RP from, eventually you'll probably move on from the almost 'tutorial-like', GTAO that the low ranking members start at to introduce you to the game, and you'll be more open to your own activities. Of course, the more you rank up (until Rank 120), the more content you'll unlock. Guns, Clothes, Missions etc.

So keep playing, enjoy your time on freemode, play missions, Adversary Modes, whatever you wish, and you'll unlock more missions, heists etc.

i have house for 175 000- i didn't see any heists

 

Its just strange that they give you missions and all looks like gta 5 singleplayer-
and then it's just ends abruptly and game like- now go do whatever you want/
so i need just walk on the street and just do random missions ?- do i need to expect storyline like it was in beginning of the game?

Like I said with the 'tutorial-like' section, that's the only 'structured storyline' to GTAO, the rest of the storyline, is quite literally, whatever the heck you make it out to be. Whatever missions, heists, bounty hunting sessions you go on.

Mission's are actually from Lamar, but they start just outside of Benny's place.

Should be a yellow 'L', on your radar.

btw i upgrade my car spend around 1 million dollars - but i can't ride on it in any race? is there any racing where i can use my car?1 million upgrade is pointless then
