Mine is my Phoenix. This is my baby, had her since launch. Wouldn't EVER get rid of her. What're yours? I feel bad about getting rid of the 4 doors but I always wanted the RS to come back so, it was no-brainer. and it actually has made me millions..selling it..multiple times. I don't really have a "daily" car, I cycle them all but another I refuse to sell, my Spanish Lords Turismo Classic. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. Honourable mention to my Planet Express "Bessie" X80 too.. Colour options and colour scheme I have really suit this car. This car probably gets driven 60% of the time. Insurgent. Bullet resistant, can take a ton of hits from rockets, and can push back a bunch of things. gets driven 25% of the time. Dukes/DoD. My fun car for doing donuts and sliding around. 10% of the time. Stirling GT/Coquette Classic/Comet/Trophy Truck/Everything else for the last 5%. Commander S Posted May 5, 2017 Share Posted May 5, 2017 See, I tend to daily in whatever I've been working on lately - at the moment, my Comet Retro that I've just finished.Beyond that, though, I'm partial to my Stirling GT and Elegy RH8 on one character, and ever since I gave it a 'make-under', my Sultan RS on the other.Hands-down favourite, that if push came to shove and I had to get rid of everything except one single car? Just asking, does upgrading the retro remove your plate, horn, or paintjob? Couldn't care less about upgrades since I bought either one armour or speed upgrade. I'm thinking of getting a casual Retro Custom to chill and cruise in, but if those mods get removed I'm gonna have to get a crew retro (which I'm opposed to because I lose speed) Upgrading it keeps almost everything - armour, upgrades, and basic colour scheme stay the same (including horn and plate - plus you have the standard LSC options at Benny's afterwards), but it'll swap the wheels to stock Elegy Retro Custom ones (again, you can change them back, though). One thing that's good is that both the RH8 and the Retro Custom have the same basic primary/secondary colour sections (i.e. a big stripe of secondary that goes from hood to trunk), so you can have the same paint scheme for both - for example, my RH8 is red with a black secondary stripe, while my Retro (above) is silver with a metallic purple stripe. This might help - for a decent breakdown of vehicle customisation options, GTA Series Videos is your friend: (skip to 9:32 for the Elegy Retro Custom!) Tursimo classic was my daily couple of months ago, still it is very beautiful and nice to drive with. And the DoD, because f*ck traffic! I wanted my main car to be something with a little history and something that would be of belief for a petty criminal to drive. A re-post of mine from the vehicle screenshots thread: back-story: Having entered the city Los Santos again after waking from a coma that has seemingly limited my physical abilities, I had found myself working with a man named Simeon Yetarian. Mr. Yetarian seems a shady and a bit of an egocentric man, but he pays good ... usually. However, today's payment was not like other payments. Instead of wiring me a percentage of a repossessed car's value into my bank, he gave to me a Silver Blista Compact for "free" for what he claims is an "act of kindness". But as most people know on this forsaken island, nothing actually comes for free. I tried to deny this "act of kindness" but he pulled a fast one on me. He had claimed that you wouldn't disrespect your dyeing uncle by denying a gift he gives to you, so why must this be different? I must say he does have a point. So the catch? It seems I am now indebted to him. This car is small, and it smells like it has been decomposing in a Liberty City landfill. However, it seems strong enough to take many collisions and bullet holes. I can tell that Mr. Yetarian had done some work to the car after acquiring it, and I love that he replaced the manual pop-open sunroof with an electronically controlled one. Still, given Yetarian's business practices I can only fathom was in possession of this car prior to me and Mr. Yetarian.
