Ghost but not passive

I've seen a couple examples of this in the past week. The one I encountered yesterday was someone who was afk with a solid white blob on the minimap but when I approached them they were ghosted. They were not in a gang attack. The previous one I saw a few days ago was someone I was having a one on one with (somewhere near the golf course) and after I'd killed them a couple of times they appeared ghosted and I couldn't shoot them but they were solid white on the minimap. I don't think there's a gang attack where they were. Any other possible cause of this?

This happens so times. Many times, after completing the Free Mode Event "Penned In", I am transparent to the other players, and they to me.

 

Long ago there was a glitch, between a playlist bug, that allowed a "God Mode". You can capture yachts in Piracy Prevention, or go with a friend in a transparent Valkiria with the possibility of kill other players.

 

I think, that in the Golf Club allows you to do the same glitch.

OK. I think that you talking about the Ghost option. When you kill somebody three times in less of 5 minutes, he can activate ghost mode for you. You can't kill him, and he can't kill you, but he can kill others. It ends in two minutes.
