XBOX ONE:

Alright, so, I'm looking for high level GTA V players who would like to do the criminal mastermind challenge, but also don't mind helping me level up with some missions/races or whatever. I'm level 76 or something like that, but in order to take on this challenge I want to really be prepared for it. I'd also like to start some sort of group chat through text or kik (I don't care which) so that we can all communicate and keep up to date with which times we can do the heists and all that. If you're interested my gt is kurami702 or my kik is marbear2342 so either way works for me. Just to be clear, I want everyone to have a mic, obviously, and people who like to work together. We're a team, and it's a big payout. :3

Having higher levels will help in some aspects because you'll have access to certain weapons that make getting through certain combat situations a bit easier But it is not a requirement

I'm not on Xbox so I obviously can't help And I've already earned mine

...and I'm not interested in going through it a second time

But I can offer some advice...

...find a group of people who work well as a team

Heroes, Hot Heads, and general Goof Off players rarely ever make for a good team

It's not about who earns platinum or who gets the most kills it's about earning the 10 million dollars That goes along with this award

When we earned it we basically made a rule no one was allowed to use sticky bombs or grenades while riding in a vehicle simply because too many mistakes get made if it's fired off at the wrong time or if it's shot out of your hand

A few things that might help you increase your chances would be...

...Using armored cars Wherever possible

This won't be available on every Mission because some missions will require you to take special vehicles But if it's possible To be used Take advantage of it

...use the utility vest wherever possible

The utility vest when worn on a heist reduces your movement but allows you to take twice as much your normal damage

Simply put you can blow up a grenade in your hand and it won't kill you But remember this only works during a heist or A heist setup not in the public session and not in normal missions

It can be purchased from Any clothing store and is available to any player who has completed The fourth setup mission of the Humane Labs raid

Make sure you add it to your player saved outfits

you can do so at any clothing store or At your closet located in your safehouse

When entering the heist leader should Select enable player saved outfits This will allow the players To use this item But once again some Heist will require you to wear very specific clothing and this will not be available during those times

...Use of the rocket launcher when dealing with hostage situations

If you have access to the rocket launcher (Not the Homing rocket launcher) It can be pulled out and doesn't even need to be aimed at the crowd as long as you're standing in the correct position it will keep the crowd 100% subdued this works extremely well on the fleece a job and the Pacific Standard job

On the fleece a job simply pull it out and stand in front of the two entrance doors and the crowd and the bank teller will stay subdued throughout The rest of the mission

The same can be done in the Pacific Standard job by standing on one of the two tables to the right side of the room near the door That the thermal charges need to be placed on And all you have to do is pull the rocket launcher out in the crowd stays 100% subdued

Obviously a weapon that demand respect lol

...There are also many useful ways of getting through each Mission

Like for example On the mission when you're doing the setups for the Pacific Standard job and you have to go and retrieve the bikes...

Everyone assumes that you have to jump on the bikes and outrun the guys

it's not that this is impossible

...but I see many players died while attempting this

All while there is an easier solution to the problem

All you have to do is have one bike ride outside of the yard by maybe a block or two and it will trigger the back up

Drive back to the yard And they will follow you where the rest of the team will be waiting in ambush to annihilate all of them

eventually they will stop coming

There is a set amount of backup that comes

After taking them out there may still be a few of them alive on the road and at the roadblock

..But the roadblock can be driven around by simply taking another road and the one or two that may still be alive that come after you are a lot easier to get past than the dozens that come Under normal circumstances

Knowing what to do and how to do it on each Heist and setup will come in very handy

....Running through a few missions together as a team may also Expose weaknesses That certain players have and it will give you an idea of how to better strategize During combat situations

....This is not necessarily a requirement but I recommend starting a private session In order to Keep the group together

....Last but not least After each Heist, and setup...

Make sure each member is stocked up on snacks And body armor

Other than that

...Just take your time on the missions

...find people who communicate and work well as a team

...you should do fine

2 friends and I want to attempt the Criminal Mastermind Challenge before Gunrunning releases. If you're interested leave your Xbox One gamertag, your level, and if you have access to a mic.

You still need people? I've got 2 friends that want to do it and we're all high levels we just need 1 more.
