Coldplayist
Hi everyone, I'd like to know whether the following build will be able to run GTA V at 1080p & 60 FPS: Intel Core i5 7600 3.5Ghz 6MB GTX 660 (non-ti) 2GB 8GB DDR4 2400Mhz Asus H110M-K LGA1151, Intel H110 Also, will an i7 provide significant improved performance? Which competent could be the bottleneck in this build? Thanks

Dock
Id recommend trying to get the GPU up to like a GTX 760 at least; that'll allow you to max everything under the Graphics section (minus grass) and you can experiment some with the Advanced Graphics (extended shadows for example should be fine) for 1080p60 (w/just FXAA btw). Deminu
Looks pretty solid. I have a 660 non-ti, and I get about 80 fps normally with most of the settings on Very High, and 4x MSAA. As long as you aren't expecting 100+ FPS with everything on Ultra, you should be fine. If you can, though, definitely see if you can pick up a 1060. They're around $200, and absolutely smashes the 660 in terms of performance. http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-660-vs-GeForce-GTX-1060
Coldplayist
Thanks everyone. So the bottom line is that i5 or i7 isn't the issue when it comes to smooth play?
swebarb
yes usually its low ram or putting graphics settings to high for the graphic card to render.
