Maybe it's a play on words. Maybe after a certain amount of times an employee snitches on you, and brings a cop raid, you get a snake.

The two furniture options give you either an open bookshelf or a cabinet with one clear and one solid door, so that rules out interior styles as the cause of the snake's appearance.

I woulden't mind if he could elaborate on the "other" level.

 

To see it somewhat realistic, the only business that would attract snakes is weed.

 

Snakes are not interested in chemicals or paper.

 

Hot and moist environment is what they like, so do weed.

Perhaps it could be tied with MC Club statistics? Such as rival presidents killed and other PvP things? I own all 5 businesses, have run them all enough to have made at least a few mils of them all (except Documents... such small yield) and I have no snake.
