No shopkeeper to hold up

Hi guys, wondering if you can help. I've just started GTA Online and done the tutorial missions. After they are completed, you get sent to a clothing shop to buy some clothes (no problem so far) and then get a phone call, telling you to go and hold up a store by pointing your gun at the shopkeeper. Trouble is, when I get to the store indicated on the minimap, there is no shopkeeper - just an empty store. I've closed the game and opened it back up again but same thing happens. Has this happened to anyone and, if so, did you manage to fix it? Thanks

Try it in an Invite Only session. May be a syncing problem with other players in the session.

Just tried an invite only session from the start menu while in single player. Nope does NOT work

My guess is that the no life glitch/dupe crowd has found another trick that R* has to "fix". The vehicle management icon was back but has disappeared again today.

I had this problem yesterday as well with all of the shops I visited not having a clerk/person behind the cash register. In the end I had to go and get the snacks I wanted from my office.
