nope... just so you have a perspective, i played gta 4 pretty much everyday from release day til august 2012, when i got tired of the modders and pretty much forced me to retire from the game.

gta 4 was more simple than gtao, overall had less content and still managed to play it and enjoy it for 4 years.

gtao has more stuff, keeps getting more content, so its safe to say i can still get atleast 4 more years out of this game haha

when i get tired, ill simply move on but i dont see that happening on the near future.

So almost half the people here visit a forum specifically made to talk about a game they've grown tired of......

I wouldn't say I'm tired.

I would say that there's a lot of wasted potential, and that the quality of life is . . . lacking.

There's a giant casino sitting on the east end of the city, why not open it and utilize it. More people invest in your game, the community grows less adversarial with one more thing to bond over. The same could be said with the nightclubs . . . the water and backlands are debateable too. The north end of the map in general could use a quality of life update.

Character immersion/customization is a personal gripe of mine. Hehehe.

The the filler content doesn't do it for me. Very repetitive. The cunning stunts could've been put into one singular update. There are a plethora of ideas, simple ones, that they could've done as a replacement.

Freeroam is out of the question, no form of cohesion there. Just people with rebreathers some parachute bags and PMC gear blowing each other to hell.

I get that there's strict deadlines, etc, but I still stand by my opinion. I enjoy contact missions, survival, fixed deathmatches, none of that RnG crap however. When you get told you live in a "living breathing world" and that you can be who you want to be, you kinda think that the stuff you wish up, within reason, is a given.

I'm bored of it that's for sure. But not tired yet.

Hoping R* don't stick to specific themed updates and specific car culture.

You can be a fan of a franchise, enjoy the franchise, enjoy coming to the forum to talk about the franchise and be sick of the current iteration AND where it's been going.

Some don't get this.

NO , a big NO indeed ... I just love this game and somehow it´s never boring in GTA . Bored of free roam ? jump on some LTS , bored of LTS ? do some adversary mode etc... plus I´m a car fan and I love the racing in GTA ( incl. Stunt racing ) , you´ll ALWAYS find ppl online to race against them !and kudos to R* for updating the game almost every week ! that´s why I won´t be bored of GTA in the near future !

I´m actually a bit surprised about how many ppl voted "yes" in the poll ....

We critique the game because we love the game.

When you constantly shell out your wallet and max our your cards over every single thing these Developers toss our way, why stop? It's not like we want the game to suck or be lackluster.

So true. I always find myself critiquing moves that my favorite sports teams make. With video games, a similar thing can happen.

As for me, other games look more appealing nowadays. Los Santos has gotten bland and isn't as immersive as previous GTA settings. There's too much dripfeeding. I don't do adversary modes. So yeah...

No.

It's a new game every time I log on. New players enter the sandbox every day. No session is the same. Different friends and crew members is online - never the same. The player population is organic and alive.

Contents. As long as new dlcs drop there is always something to look forward to. Grind and save up cash for new toys.

That's all on point. 210 days played and it still seems fresh.

I've only recently started playing again after a lengthy lay off from PC gaming. I'm enjoying the CEO and the MC work. It's quite fun being a drug kingpin at the same time as having warehouses full of stock to sell

So in a word, no. Far from done with the online but one thing I find is that it gets quite lonely, even in a full lobby. Half of the lobby are in their own groups and the stragglers like myself just going about our business. Asides from seeing the dots on the map, you sometimes wouldn't know it wasn't single player.

A few people have said it already in the replies Ive seen so far, its a yes and no thing. I wasn't bored or anything at all last year, we did a youtube mini series but when I/E came out. I grinded non stop for a whole month and made 12 mil from 100k. I was burned out so I played other games like FH3, ghost recon came out and then ME:A. I just jumped back on last month and they had the whole double rp & cash on contact missions and you got double for selling cargo. So Ive been doing them, made another 2-3 mil and I'm like on 17 mil now. Just taking it easy cuz I don't wanna get burned out again. I'm doing heists again cuz I never did any of the challenges like all in order (thanks to cnutbag old crew members on old gen).

So for me that's given me another reason to play, plus I'm buying some cars but being sensible, don't wanna spend too much and waiting for good discounts etc. Also when I used to heavily do contact missions last year, I changed the game up alittle. Only used 2 weapons & one throwable in the whole mission. It makes it a lot more interesting, fun and more challenging. Also going back to story missions and replaying to get gold. Then you've got the R* editor for some cool snaps. Though I gotta admit ill be off on 19th as Injustice 2 and then in june Tekken is out. :D

im so absolutely sick of gta online the radio stations alone make me nauseous, if youve been playing as long as i have i bet youre bored too..

the thing is im a socialist and im invested in this game, im trying to achieve something called "social justice" in gta online and i wont stop playing until rockstar finally relents and creates a sophisticated gta welfare system so the poor dont end up starved of new updates and content and the rich dont take over gta online

The fact that you're all on a very busy and active forum still talking about a game that's four years old (which is positively geriatric in gaming terms) suggests people aren't that bored of it.

As a day one player I dare say I've played GTAO as much or more than the majority. Sometimes I binge for days or weeks, get bored and leave the game alone for a while, then I come back and get immersed in it all over again.

Yes and no. I believe GTA Online had a lot of potential, and honestly it still does. After scrolling through all 217 pages of the GTA Beta Hunt Thread, I have this mixed feeling of curiosity and disappointment. Rockstar had some really huge things planned for this game, and the amount of cut content is astounding. The main thing that keeps pushing me away from GTA Online is the constant addition of Adversary Modes, and while some of the modes were okay, a lot of them are just sh*t. It sucks to see them waste resources on something no one will play after a week or two, when they could expand upon contact missions or even Survivals. I still jump on once a day for a little bit, but I don't do long sessions unless there's a really good 2x money and RP week going on.

I think a lot of the blame for this unfortunately has to be put on the community. Hardly anybody wants to do heists, proper races or death matches anymore, yet tons of people are still playing these moronic parkour games and all the kids are queuing up to play stunt race ram-fests, with catch up and slip streaming turned on for added rubbishness.

Sadly I believe that, despite the criticism they receive, Rockstar have given a lot of players exactly what they want. Unfortunately what a lot of players (i'm guessing mostly kids) want is a bunch of mindless crap.

The radio is one of the best parts of the game.

The music is amazing and just last night I realised that even now there are parts of the stations I've never heard or paid attention to before.

"

150 days played and I'm still finding bits on the map for the first time!

I agree with the folk saying that every day is different. Just gotta have some friends to keep things fresh. I guess it's like real life, if you spend all your time alone there's more chance you'll get bored than if you're in company.

I don't see how adversary modes affect the game in a negative way though. They don't have any impact on freeroam at all. I don't play captures, if they added more it would have zero effect on my enjoyment of the game.

They're catering to nothing other than PvP, which some people don't enjoy. Captures are underated.

I feel the opposite. I haven't bought uncharted because of this game. Or any other game. GTAO makes all other games gather dust for me.

am krooked

The only thing that get me to come back are the cars. Now with the whole drip-feed bullsh*t, my excitement is halved when it turns out I have to wait 2-4 weeks for a damn car, meanwhile they give us sh*t ones (although I/E had some damn good cars).

So yeah, if R* announced that they wouldn't be adding any more content, specifically cars, I'd completely stop playing in a heartbeat. That and GTA$. If I had <3mil I'd just quit as well. Not interested in grinding that hard for business' and cars.
