Changing driver seat animation

I have created my own custom boat. Now I am having trouble with the way the driver gets to the seat.

 

As far as I understand in vehicles.meta there is a line <layout>. This defines where the data is from vehiclelayouts.meta, right ?

 

Currently I am using LAYOUT_BOAT_DINGHY.

 

I can easily add my own things there, what would be the best way to do this?
