Spring Cleaning: Garage Clean-Out (What to keep?)

I've got maxed out garages, all full of cars and motorcycles.
I'm now currently in the process "Spring Cleaning" and selling all my vehicles, with the exception of a few.

I'm keeping at least one from each of the major classes, for racing purposes:

• Sedan: Cheval Fugitive (and the Romero Hearse, just cuz I enjoy gifting them to people)
• Compact: Grotti Briosco
• Coupe: Dewbachee Exemplar
• Muscle: Bravado Redwood Gauntlet
• Off Road: HVY Insurgent
• Sports: Obey Omnis & Armored Kuruma
• Super: Annis RE-7B (I'm also keeping my T20, as well)
• Sports Classic: Lampadati Casco (also considering the Infernus Classic... thoughts?)
• Motorcycles: BF400, Bati, and Ruffian
• SUVs: none
• Vans: none

Any thoughts on my list above?

What about you – are you fond of cleaning out the old to make room for the new?
Also, does anyone know if it's possible to sell Bicycles?

 

Overall, the question would be, if you "were" to do a clean out, which FIVE cars would be must-keepers for you, and why?Curious to see the results. Cheers!

You can just blow up the bicycles, but if you glitched them to get insurance or R* added insurance to them in any update then maybe you can't sell them?

i don't know cause if i usually wan't to do stunt with bmx i just run up to grove street and find one there. haven't touched stored bicycles since Cunning Stunts.

I had to google what a grotti bioso was lol, didn't know such a car existed until now. Might have to pick one up

 

 

I've emptied out garages a few times over my playing time and kept a few that I've had since nearly the beginning

 

5 cars I would keep:

 

Cheetah - My favorite car in game and has been since the beginning. Still have the same one from the old sp/mp glitch a few years back

 

Armored Kuruma - seems to be the only car I drive now days. (I have 2 so do they count as one choice? Lol)

 

Hakuchou - my favorite bike

 

These other 2 I jut really like

 

Jester ( race car livery)

Tornado

 

The Hakuchou and Cheetah are also the only 2 vehicles I have that still have Yankton plates on them

Man, I haven't done a spring cleaning since E&OC came out! Currently the Diabolus*, Emperor, FCR1000*, Gauntlet, Nightblade* & Zion are on my To-Go-List, but since I have space, I'm keeping them for now.

 

As for my Five Must Keeps, Its hard to pick just 5 outta 58, but here they are:

 

1) One of my Cognoscentis.

2) One of my Baller LEs.

3) One of my Dubstas.

4) One of my Oracle XS'.

5) Toss a coin between my Bestia & one of my Schafter V12s.

 

I'd feel bad for parting with my Nero & GP1.

As far as Compacts go, I love the Bioso. I removed the Livery and it's like a super-Issi! It replaced my Blista, which I've had since the early days.

 

The Hakuchou is a great ride and I have to admit – never owned a Cheetah. I might look into that based on your recommendation!

 

As for the Yankton plates... I'm sincerely jealous. I wish I'd thought of it back then, but didn't.

Still wishing they'd just unlock Yankton and let us frolic in the wintery goodness all year long. <sigh>

I would keep 3 maybe 4 of your choices for racing and dump the rest of them, minus the Hearse.

 

I have all the sports classics. Best for racing is currently the Turismo Classic. Not sure if it has a higher speed than the Z Type though.

I ask because, my opinion, of course, I could offer a few suggestions for race 'winners' instead of a few here you mentioned dude...

 

Zion for coupe's, Shafter V12 (A) for sedans and others if interested, all my opinion or stuff read somewhere dude, nothing sacred or nought, lol...

 

Anyhow, can't sell bicycles unfortunately, I do feel most anything should be sellable on this game, clothes etc. too...

 

On old gen, and on current until the 60 car showrooms were added, it frustrated me that new cars, better than previous in class too, would come, as to be competitive, I HAD to buy them, usually meaning selling to make room through garage limitations, since the showroom, I have fully relished buying all my babies back, and adding to them...

 

Are you PS4? I too have many... Could be cool to look around... A guilty pleasure of mine, lol...

 

Anyway... The 5 I wouldn't give up... A couple of easy ones, and I'll 100% be leaving out something I'd consider gold too, no doubt, as I love my cars...

 

Dominator (regular) - 1st car, learned to drive muscle cars on her in it...

Zentorno - A stellar car on old gen, on my newer account, the 1st super I got... Won well, looks great, drives beautiful...

Nero Custom - My beastie... My newer 'go-to' car... Every-damn-time... A good compromise on stunt races too...

Bati 801RR - I'm not a bike man at all, but this baby is just so nippy, I'm comfortable on it, which says it all to me... Handy for MC too...

The Kuruma (armoured)... Possibly a controversial choice, especially considering I'm near rank 600, quite good at PvE, certainly confident, and now the Duke O'Death is about too... But...

 

This car man, she can do it for me when I really am just plodding... I learned so many shortcuts and how to build my confidence in it too, it offered a naïve me a chance to earn AND learn in-game, without being run over, bashed about by high ranks... And, even now, when I join randoms or low rank friends on heists, she's still got it for helping protect them, or for that easy run on a setup, you know...

 

In all fairness, the second I used that Kuruma, the second I looked her over and saw just how damn good looking the car actually is... Of course, those Honda Civics from the 1st Fast & Furious movie, came straight to mind, and I love an Evo too... Yeah, I know players can berate it as a 'noob shell' but, for me, it's much more than that and I feel that it devalues what is a great car, that millions have used consistently...

 

With it, IMO, an absolute fraggle could complete jobs, get cash and grow into GTA with one less worry... Massive respect for this often hated car.

Not sure about your list fw3; are the ones listed the ones you're thinking about selling?

 

For me the Specter Custom is a keeper for sure. Love that thing, same with the Tropos Rallye; never selling those. I learnt the hard way never to sell the expensive supers no matter how much I need money, it just wastes so much money when you re-buy them.

 

The only cars I sell regularly are cars I can get off the street if I fancy having them again.

Why would you sell so many? If you want to make space, just sell maybe 10 cars. You can't do anything except buying other cars with the money anyway and you'll just lose 50% of it's value.

 

If you're saving those cars for racing purposes, I might suggest keeping or getting a few others:

Sedan- Schafter V12 : This car is so OP in its class that you have no chance in your Fugitive

Muscle- Dominator(racecar) or Sabre Turbo Custom : No chance in your Gauntlet against these cars, especially in races with a lot of top-speed sections.

Sports- Elegy or Feltzer or Massacro or Jester(racecar) : A lot in this class are pretty good in races, but the Omnis and Kuruma aren't part of them, except in some off-roading.

Super- 811 or Nero custom or Itali GTB : RE-7B is definitely the best, but these other cars will destroy it in high speed races.

Sport Classics- Turismo classic : This just owns all other cars in its class. The rest are just for show.

OP, the Shafter V12 needs to be the armoured one for sedan racing, as Sagrawa said, unbeatable in capable hands, a tad light on jumps, take care as it's a genuine rocket... And the regular Shafter V12 is a monster on straighter sports races too, again, light in the air...

 

Contender for SUV, Gang van or Rumpo Custom for Vans, Guardian for Industrial, and Sadler for utility... If you'd like a few B-Class choices...

 

The Brioso R/A, as much as I love it, and it does dominate, it made my Rhapsody 2nd in class, by some distance... Grrrr... (Waves fist at R*)

You can actually use the regular V12 in Sedans now as well. (stupid R*) It's registered as a sports-car, but it's usable in both. The regular version is just a tad bit faster than its armored counterpart.

1. Those are cars I have and did not plan to get rid of – however, I would definitely be willing to replace them with better cars in their class.

Feel free to reply with a list of your ideal winning cars! I'd be grateful for the insight!

• Coupe: Dewbachee Exemplar // For Racing: Zion (either one) or Felon (four-door, not GT)
• Muscle: Bravado Redwood Gauntlet // For Racing: Pisswasseer Dominator
• Off Road: HVY Insurgent // For SST Racing: Trophy Truck or Desert Raid, or for general Racing: BF 400
• Sports: Obey Omnis & Armored Kuruma // The Omnis is good for Rally-cross races, but you should get a Jester, Massacro, Elegy RH or Feltzer, perhaps even a Seven-70.
• Super: Annis RE-7B (I'm also keeping my T20, as well) // Good choices, although the Nero is my preferred choice.
• Sports Classic: Lampadati Casco (also considering the Infernus Classic... thoughts?) // For Racing: Turismo Classic
• Motorcycles: BF400, Bati, and Ruffian // Good choices.
• SUVs: none // Vapid Contender
• Vans: none // Gang Burrito or Rumpo Custom

My Rhapsody is bright pink, with a black secondary colour on the bottom half, proud triple hood scoop, flames on the side and some blade high end tyres, black smoke as it's a lil' slippery off the line, and lowered to the max... 100% character... Not denying the Brioso has plenty too, a little bouncy on the drive, but a real looker, can't shake the 'Herbie' feel in it... This game needs an old beetle...

 

For the races dude, I fully agree with Sagrawa's options, I use mostly those cars when in a pinch and need reliability on a lesser known track for sure... And I followed his/her post with some lesser class options too... For off road, I'd use the BF400 if possible, or one of the Cunning Stunt trucks, I personally use the bike, but the trucks can fight, and on contact races, to go defensive on a bike might be tricky... lol...

 

And I personally enjoy using the Massacro race car on sports as it suits me, the Jester race car too on much tighter tracks is a must, the Tropos Rallye is very nippy if you can handle oversteer occasionally, like the Elegy RH8, quick and good, just the handling is a personal choice...

 

The Gauntlet you have is not too bad, but I agree again that the Dominator race car or the Sabre Turbo Custom are very strong too, looser on the back end, but fast if controlled well, and if you like the classic look, the Coquette Blackfin is no slouch, another option, especially against the 'average' crowd of randoms...

 

Motorbikes, hmmm... I'll leave to better knowledge from others, I'd say Bati 801RR for tight tracks and the Shotaro for straights, but I rarely race them, I'm a car man, almost Jeremy Clarkson about it too, lol...

 

@ Jenkiii... Perfectly sums me up... Like the Seven-70 mentioned too, underrated by many...

I echo Jenkiiii's post about what cars I reccommend for racing. I agree with all his choices.

 

That said, I rarely race anymore and my skill level is high enough that against randoms, it doesn't matter what I drive.

 

Cars that will never leave my garage, if I had choose 5.

 

Slamvan Custom- Can easily win races with this.

 

Franken Stange- Engine sound.

 

Dominator- Obviously.

 

Mamba- Because Cobra + engine sound.

 

Dukes- No reason, it's just badass.

if i had to cutdown my collection down to 5 cars, i'd keep the bati, the dubsta 2 i got since the ps3, t20, insurgent and exemplar!

Currently for an example i have not bought the turismo classic yet, even though it looks great and it dominates the sport classic class because my stirling gt also looks great and racing lobbies are still broken.

 

Thus at the moment i do not feel like buying anything.

 

Yet, for an example, if racing gets fixed and rockstar brings out a lampadati coupe that is 4 door and destroys the felon while looking good...i would replace that since it was always a cheap vehicle anyhow and it would not f*ck up my garage arrangements.

Gunrunning prep is why I'm cleaning house.

 

But even still, I've got four 10-car garages and the Maze garage, all of which are full... well, "were" full.

 

I've sold quite a few, already, and got back over $6M.

 

It kills me that we have to sell our cars and that we're "not allowed" to sell other stuff like the golden aircrafts, yachts, monster trucks, dump trucks, etc.

But what if I need that old Phoenix that I never use for a muscle car meet even though I haven't joined a car meet in months? I have this big hoarding tendency where I walk around my garage and say, "well, I need that one cause no one shows this one off" or "I had good times with this car, I can't sell this one". I need to go on Dr.Phil of Los Santos and get some intense counseling. I don't even own a house but I live in 6 garages.

Voodoo beater - my favorite gta car since Vice City

Slamvan - (I actually prefer driving this to the Custom)

Cheetah - I thought I was the only one who loves this car, by far my favorite super

Duke o'death - cause I need my Mad Max car
