The One Stat That Defines You Most

We're all arguing about griefing and KD/R and races and making money in free mode, but we all have something that defines us more than anything else in GTAO.

For many, it's the kill-to-death ratio.

For others, it's winning races.

For some, it's creating new jobs.

Well, what is yours? We all have our opinions on what people we do, and we all have our justifications for why we focus on one aspect of the game and not another.

What is the one stat that defines you most?

Care to explain yourself?

Since we have so many other threads where we (definitely I) post scathing criticisms of the way others play the game, let's keep that out of this thread.

Let's try to focus on explaining for OURSELVES why a particular stat defines us, and avoid passing judgement on others.


For me, I'd say that the one stat that defines me most is doing a little bit of everything, so to elaborate, I'd fall into the category of people who like to be a "Jack of all trades." A close second for me would be showing off my Buzzard flying skills.


Let me know what options to add and I'll try to get them in.

I can't tell you how many people I watch fail at Salvage because they never put in the work to get 5 bars on lung capacity (and they don't grab the rebreathers fast enough).

 

It's a stat worth building. Makes life easier. Once you're at 5 you can stay under water for a very long time.

Well, I guess maybe jack of all trades. But mainly KDR and money. My racing score isn't too great, it's a little negative.

 

I've got like $40 mill legit on me now, plus owning basically everything worth owning. Then a KDR of 1.93 with 20k kills. I could be better, but I'm proud of what I have.

You seem fully legit. 1.93 is high if you play fair. I'm a jack of all trades too. I don't like to focus on any one aspect of the game too much. Makes it stale.

 

I've been focusing on being great at Tiny Racers. Not. Really, not at all. That mode sucks.

You speak truth. That's funny. Yeah, being a jack of all trades shouldn't mean that you suck at everything except being marginally good at one or two things.

 

I definitely fit in the jack department, however. I'm a skilled pilot, job player, make some jobs, vary my gameplay, grief rarely, do missions, heists, CEO work, try to just stay busy and keep it varied.

 

Should I add more options or keep it simple?

I selected Jack of All Trades...

 

It sums me up better, I'm all about earning legit cash and building my car collection, but the need as such for money has all but gone, until gunrunning possibly, that, it's all about the smiles, regardless of what I do. I like to win or try to win what competitive games I enter, but I prefer to help others learn CEO/MC stuff too, heists too, though not as much these days... So long as what I'm doing is making me smile, all is gold...

A close second would be Time spent in races (18d 7h 18m 16s) as it reveals my favorite activity (and how badly I need a new Gran Turismo game to be released).

That's totally absurd. I thought I was high at just shy of 6,000. 32,000????

 

 

I voted "another stat". I think the stat that reveals the most about me is Time spent in GTA Online (105d 1h 57m 3s) because it shows how hopelessly obsessed I am with this damn game. A close second would be Time spent in races (18d 7h 18m 16s) as it reveals my favorite activity (and how badly I need a new Gran Turismo game to be released).

I think what you said is relevant enough to be added. There's a lot to be said about just playing GTAO all the time, regardless of what you're doing. I'm at 130 days myself. :|

The Buzzard is my favorite thing in the game... but why do you refuse to use a jet altogether?

I would hope it's KD, but it's average, sitting at a solid 1.12. To be honest, the stat I'd really pick is stamina. Without being an track runner, you won't get anywhere online.

I don't like jet players. With a passion. They ruin the game IMO more than everything else. I attack jet players regardless if they are attacking friends or randoms. With teleporting and the buzzard I don't even need mine.

K/D defines a person the most I would think. Someone with a high K/D is gonna play the game much differently to someone with an average to low one.

elite challenges were so hard and frustrating but i'd welcome more stuff like that, its an ingame tshirt but it feel really rewarding to obtain it.

I'm all about the Distance Traveled Walking (448 miles), Furthest Distance Free-Falling (2767'), and Farthest Driving without Crashing (74 miles).

 

There are others, but they aren't all that important to me or my game.

 

Although, the idea that I've shot out more than 40,000 tires is staggering. lol!

The last Gran Turismo that I couldn't put down was the second one.

But... you're serious about the distance walking? So, you're more of a fit freak? I suppose your in-game FitBit might need a new battery.

I'd say legit money earned... I'm a huge fan of CEO, VIP and MC Work. It's basically all I've been doing in game for about a year and a half now (and still do). At 441m earned legit so far, with 126m of it being shared during the billionaire days

 

Haven't even touched any other modes except for when they're double cash and RP ever since freeroam work was introduced.

 

As for stats, I'd say shooting is the most important for me

The CEO work has more or less rendered heists irrelevant as primo money-making options. If you grind right as a CEO, you make the most money. Of course those pesky griefers and unreliable associates can make it painful.

 

I think strength is the most important stat. You guys do realize that the more strength you have, the harder it is for other players to kill you, right?
