If you're to make it, you could use the Carson GT Concept from Burnout Paradise.

Base model is SA Euros, heavily modified to V-ish quality.

After making Webster paintjob for Voit I decided to continue working on some retro NFS designs. Here's the Cyclone Sultan RS:

Since NFSU is fairly old it has really LQ textures, so i had to redo all graphics from scratch. It's gonna be added to the OP when it's gonna be approved.

Since you guys are like the kings of editing vanilla cars, may I ask where I can get all of the files for vanilla vehicles such as the bison. Im trying to make a replacer only into an addon but I dont know where to pull the files from. Im doing a bison replacer btw. Have you guys ever thought of joining up with GTAWiseGuy or Bob322? They both make well made vanilla edited vehicles.

^ there's a search tool in OpenIV, you can use it to find all kinds of files. I think Bison should be in x64e.rpf since it's a non-DLC car.

Ok I have those files but where do I find handling.meta, carcols, carvariations. Things like that.

Today we're going to have to start with some bad news (well they're not really bad news but I don't know what else to call them). Boywond has gone on a vacation for a couple of weeks so there will be no updates to the Vanillaworks pack that is already on GTA5-Mods and there won't be any separate mod releases until he's back. But don't worry, we got another pack that will be released later this week ;)

 

But in other news, before Boywond took off on his vacation he made an "Endo Engineer" livery for the Annis Euros (shown below). MGgames100 has also been busy with the Euros, he gave the car some much needed customization parts. Here's two examples of what type of customization you can except to see on the car in the near future (the wheels are a part of his Lore Friendly Wheel Pack).

It's time to introduce the Vanillaworks Extended pack, a pack that will feature a variety of lore-friendly vehicles made by different modders in the community in one package. Thanks to Cass and his World of Variety mod you will also be able to see most of these vehicles in the NPC vehicle traffic that roam the streets of San Andreas. At this moment the pack features over 30 vehicles from a few different modders, I'll post the full vehicle list a little later. If everything goes as planned the pack will be released this coming weekend on GTA5-Mods.com.

And if you're wondering what is going to happen with the Vanillaworks Pack, it'll keep getting updated as usual but it will only include vehicles/liveries that the Vanillaworks team has released.

Is there any overlap with IV Pack, I'd love to use both together.

 

No, I had IVPack running the whole time in my game while I was testing this pack. I actually wanted people to be able to run IVPack and this pack both at the same time without any issues :p

Have you considered making any motorcycles, specifically super bikes with fairings like the Yamaha R1, or even the BMW S1000RR. also wouldn't they be slightly easier to make too? If there's not much interior modelling to do and such.

I have no interest in making/editing any motorcycles, mainly because I don't know how and because I don't really care for motorcycles. But maybe Da7K is interested in doing them.

 

Anyway, here's a few more screenshots of the upcoming Vanillaworks Extended pack. We also might be including a few new vehicles in the pack so the release could be pushed to early next week but I'll keep you guys up to date :p

I would love to have The_Pianist 2dot0 Progen Tyrus LMS and Aziz Kuchkarov Pfister Comet GT (with automatic spoiler!) too because converting their cars to add-ons manually was exhausting.

The pack mostly includes vehicles with optimized LODs, although there are some vehicles with no optimized LODs. I like GTAWiseGuy and Bob322's vehicles, but their mods could harm the game stability, even making the game crashes randomly if you have many of them installed on your game. Making them spawn on traffic is even worse than before, as vehicles with no LODs weren't supposed to be spawned on traffic.

Would love to include some of Bob322's mods and the Tyrus LMS but I have no way to contact them. As for GTAWiseGuy and the Comet GT, most likely not.

 

EDIT: To add to the point that Fenton made above, the vehicles with no LODs/improper ones wouldn't be spawning in traffic, only the ones that have LODs will spawn. The ones that don't have them will just remain in the pack so that you can spawn them manually with a trainer :)

I have no interest at all on motorcycles, just a car guy, could do heavy vehicles too, but bikes are not my thing. Also setting up a bike for this game is more complicated than doing a car, modelling interior and setting up all the wheels is just the same thing times 4.

Actually I just contacted Dani02 about his mods after writing that post, haha. As for Bob322, I believe we have that under control as well now :p Will post a quick update here as soon as we've found out if they're okay with us adding their mods.

After noticing that Crashday is set to re-release on Steam on Aug 10th, I suddenly thought that this game can be a good source for lore-friendly cars.

! Bob322 and Dani02 have both agreed to let us use their vehicles in the Vanillaworks Extended pack. So far the only vehicle that we have in the pack from Bob is his Vulcar Warrener Coupe that he updated some hours ago. The reason why that is the only vehicle from him in the pack is because the rest of his vehicles doesn't have LODs, but don't worry, he is working on giving some of the rest of his vehicles proper LODs as well. As for Dani we got quite a few of his vehicles included in the pack, you can see some of them in the screenshots below.

I also wanted to give converting a vehicle from IV a try so I decided to start with G.C.T.'s Vapid Executioner which hopefully should be released some time this weekend. The vehicle will feature the usual vanilla V vehicle features (including proper LODs) but unfortunately I have no idea what is going on with the indicators. I've tried asking multiple people about them but nobody knows why they are displaying the light texture like that (front indicators are displaying a small white square that blinks when the indicators are activated, the rear ones are just black), so unfortunately they'll have to remain as is (if anybody has an idea on what could be wrong feel free to send me a PM). I'd also like to give a big thanks to G.C.T. for letting me convert the truck and to Da7K, Fenton and KermanRB12 for all the help they've given me while I've been converting it.

Da7K has also been working on something new. Something that you
fans over here might recognize. This vehicle however is still a WIP, so a lot of things are going to be different by the time you see it again.

And lastly, those of you who are using sjaak327's Simple Trainer will be able to use the "Added Cars" menu to spawn all of the vehicles in this pack. You no longer have to remember the names of each of the vehicles in the pack if you want to spawn them.

They look pretty good in the game but it's up to Da7K if he's interested in converting any of them over to V.
