Sup' GTA forums users,

 

This thread is dedicated to discuss and share our opinions on adversary modes. I will try my best to update it with the adversary modes that will be released in the future.

 

You are free to discuss anything in this topic as long as it is related to Adversary Modes.

 

Some discussion subjects and polls will be frequently edited into this topic in order to stimulate discussion.

 

 

 

Question of the week: What do you think about Juggernaut and Resurrection adversary modes that have double $$ this week ?

Note:

This post was 1st made under the name of "best/worst adversary modes topic" and it was about naming our top 3 best/worst adversary modes but seen how the discussion went, i tought it would be me suitable to rework the topic into a more wide one that would cover everything about adversary modes

Best is Entourage, by far... It's fun when the lobby is full and balanced, and requires cooperation.
The worst is Running Back. Don't need to explain.

there are many bad adversary modes is this game but somehow I can´t name one ... sure thing though :I didn´t like land Grab & resurrection that much ...

best Adversary modes IMO are definitely Vehicle Vendetta & Sumo ... Deadline was fun , too

Best: Slasher, Entourage, Deadline, Power Play, Resurrection (strangely).

 

Worse: Ones I didn't mention in Best. And Rhino Hunt gets an award for worse adversary mode ever.

best adversary mode: resurrection because it was fun and if you had a full lobby it had a good rp and gta $$$.

worst adversary mode: land grab because it was boring and even if you had a full lobby the rp and gta $$$ wasn't as good, and tiny racers just sucked!!

The best ones for me are Inch by Inch, In and out, Trading Places, Collection Time and Resurrection. I also to a lesser extent like Juggernaut, Cross the line, Offense Defense, Keep the Pace and Land grab.

 

For me some of the worst ones include Rhino Hunt, Come out to play, Slipstream, Power Play, Turf Wars and Vehicle Vendetta.

Worst: Rhino Hunt. Killing actual rhinos for their tusks is less offensive than this garbage AM

Best is power play. Tide can swing back and forth due to random power ups.

 

Worst is rhino hunt. I only beat the rhino once.

Best Adversary mode: Slasher

Reason: It didn't feel like an adversary mode it felt like it's own game mode. You had to hide from the slasher in complete darkness, it made every second tense and exciting. talking to your team mates to try and find them and kill the slasher, it was balanced and amazing. a lot of effort went into making it and it was relevant to the theme as well (Halloween update).

Worst Adversary mode: Till death do us part

Reason: it was sh*t.

You are right, that could be suitable but i don't know how to make a poll, could you screenshot the poll icon ? also, which question you guys think i should ask in the poll, which adversary mode below you think is the best or which adversary mode below you think is the worst ?

adversary modes can be subjective...

 

while some are outright crap, agreen on the best can be hard.

 

on my book entourage, dropzone, power play, collection time and resurrection take the top spots.

 

worst are rhino hunt, running back, sumo, til death and tiny races.

I don't know about "best" as I get my good and bad moments in all of them but Tiny Racers, the latest one, is by far the worst. It started off great as it flooded me with PS2 memories of games I used to play when growing up but with one round away from winning (6/7) I didn't spawn and the two racers that were racing fell off the track and the game froze (they drove in the water and couldn't die). We had to quit out, went and played Ghost Recon instead. It's funny cause in the game description it says "we can still make games like this!"....no, you can't lol.

It's crazy how many game modes R* puts out yet their sh*t is still unstable. It's like putting $10,000 worth of parts on a car but the seat only has one bolt holding it down and every time you hit a bump you almost break the seat.

Needs to be a pool, but I don't the format can cover 3000+ different options though.

 

Best: Ressurection, but I still think it should be an option for LTS.

 

Worse: Rhino Hunt, lame and completely one-sided match.

Deadline is the best adversary mode, and I'll fight anybody who says otherwise.

 

Worst has to be Rhino Hunt. The worst part was having 2014 flashbacks.
