slashy279
hi i know it is possible that people crypt viruses in their mods and crypt the file later on and i know that many people are able to decrypt it so they can see the source code to prevent any danger my knowledge is really fundamental in these things and i'm really trying hard to snatch bit of experience so i can learn more in near future, the things i will be asking is -software that can decrypt any asi and cleo files and something which relatively enables me to edit cleo/asi files and i can make mods with it -is it possible to encrypt viruses in mod files -how can i detect them by decrypting? spaceeinstein
You can disassemble them but it's not worth the effort. If it's that easy, any anti-virus software would've detected it long ago. If a mod isn't open source, you can't really trust that it's not doing something malicious.
