2x Contact Missions vs +25% Cargo Sales

Recommended Posts

GTAForumsUser1

If I grind an easy mission (in a playlist), I can make $19,000 every 5 minutes including loading screens (and extra $9,500 per 5 minutes).

I'm not sure how much extra money I stand to gain from selling full 100 crate warehouses with the 25% bonus.

My gut tells me that I should grind contact missions, but I don't want to miss out on the long term crate grinding potential.

I will be playing alone, so that limits my crate stealing potential.

Contact missions.

I am currently grinding a simeon playlist some certain member here made ;) filled with easy missions.

First do the objective, but then do not hit the yellow marker, read a book for 5 minutes...and deliver.

The breaks in between add to just not really thinking about what i am playing...otherwise i would not be able to keep my sanity. :p

Pretty sure missions is the best option overall....then again my warehouses are empty.

Missions are faster. I honestly retired from Crates after Import/Export, I've never been called about a special item since either.... might buy one single crate just to see if it triggers one actually.

But seriously, as somebody who owns a silver trophy from crate work. It gets VERY repetitive and boring, at least Contact missions have some diversity and don't involve making 2-3 trips if you're playing solo. Contact missions are rarely double money anyways, take advantage of it. You won't have to deal with PvP crap

I'm doing the double rp & money contact missions right now. I needed a break from crates and vehicle work.

Same, luckily for me I had just finished filling up 2 large warehouses for this event. At this point though collecting crates will only slow you down. Missions are the way to go for now.

You can also take a friend along for the ride. As long as they tie their sticks together then they can do other stuff while you do the work. Then you can swap around so you get the free rp and money while they complete the missions.

Contact Missions.

For the variety, and because they are hardly ever double payouts. Cratework is grindy and monotonous - don't forget to enjoy your game still!

Around 8 minutes is the ideal time for completing a CM. On a top earning mission I can get about 31k for 8 minutes work.

16+ minutes bags you about 42k on the same mission, that's an extra 8 minutes work for only 11k extra.

Far more profitable in the long run to aim for 8 minutes completion. And to be honest, most of the CMs can be SOLO completed in 8 minutes (often with time to spare)

play the contact missions for fun, play a playlist of jobs, you'll find yourself in a bit of money :)

but id also be stocking up on crates in the meantime and try to move them asap aft the warehouse is full

tbh everyone here is right, 2x $ for contact missions is like the rockstar equivilent to seeing a unicorn, so id def make the most of it.

now, that being said, i barely utilize my cargo warehouse as much due to having other things to do (Drug labs, I/E) so when times like these happen, i start grinding tf out of my warehouse's to turn a nice profit

(pre sure 25% bonus on large warehouse is something like $500,000 on top of the $2.2M)

but yeah, IMO anyways, play the jobs for sh*ts n giggles so as to not tie you down soley on CEO/Biker stuff and give you a nice, well needed break, then when your ready to get back in the grind, grab more cargo and fill up then sell, rinse and repeat the process for a while, and you'll be pullin in some crazy bank on both ends :D

just be mindful all the 2x $$$ stuff ends on the 1st of next month, so 9 more days now :p

If one only considers the $/h -> crates.

Regularly one 3 crate pick-up is worth 42k (60k sell value in large warehouse when full - 18k pick-up cost) without the bonus. One 3 crate pick-up lasts on average under 10mins. My average 3 crate pick-ups are ~8min.

Now with the bonus 25% the crates net you 57k (75k - 18k) / 3 crate pick-up.

The quicker you do crates, the more you make. The slower you do missions, the more you make.

Then it's totally another question of what is more fun.

Crate business starting costs are of course quite high, since you need an Office, two large warehouses and a Buzzard helicopter.

That's about one megalodon shark card as they say in the HQ of R* bathing in cash watching strippers performing their routine work.
