The Deadite
Is there any game like Red Dead Redemption or Undead Nightmare for PC?Gun is a cowboy game, it's pretty good and has gratituous violence (don't rightly know if is available for PC) No offense, but why you have to say something like that? ....Is Google blocked by your ISP that you can't surf to figure out and avoid in giving sort of half-baked info, or are you just plain lazy... Was kinda lazy, sue me. Deadrising 2 has zombies and a PC version if that's what you are after. I mean, Is Google blocked by your ISP that you can't surf to figure out and avoid in giving sort of half-baked info, or are you just plain lazy to even type google, because I can see here that Gun is available for PC! marco6158
How's Dirt Rally? I'd like to get it and it seems nice, what's your opinion about it? I want something more for racing than just Assetto Corsa.
Kiffster
AC:Black Flag was a big steaming pile of dog sh*t. It will take you a while to complete, but that's only because you'll be spending most of your time doing repetitive tasks like looking for stupid chests or chasing after magical flying pages etc in incredibly boring, uninspired and uninteresting locations. Sailing and naval battles were kinda cool though, but even that became old very quickly. Would not recommend to anyone, but then again it was highly rated by the masses for some bizarre reason, so what do I know.. Sleeping Dogs on the other hand, is great. I already played tlou on PS3 I loved it, I want a game thats gonna take awhile to complete. Sleeping Dogs for me. Not a huge fan of Assassins Creed myself and if you've already played TLOU, then I wouldn't get that. Sleeping Dogs isn't amazing, but it is a solid game that will last you probably 15-20 hours or so. Maybe more with the DLC, I'm not sure how much more hours that adds, it's been a while. The Last of Us is a great game and I will DEFINITELY replay it eventually, but if you have to choose one game, then I would definitely recommend something new. Kiffster
Did Sleeping Dogs take you long to complete? You're asking the wrong guy here because every game takes me a long time to complete. I never rush through games and I only play for short stints at a time. Sleeping Dogs is pretty short for a sandbox game though.
Aerovitia
How's Dirt Rally? I'd like to get it and it seems nice, what's your opinion about it? I want something more for racing than just Assetto Corsa. Get it. The updates keeps make it better. Recently, there was the update which adds 2 early 2000s WRC cars and Finland stage. Just remember that you're not playing Dirt 3. You're playing RBR 2.0 (or CMR 2015). Also, every content updates raises the price until the Early Access program ended approx. at December 2015, so get it ASAP. marco6158
Ok, thankyou. I will get it as soon as I can. I used to play RBR with my old steering wheel, now I have the DFGT so it will be a whole new experience.

UshaB
Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition That is all you need in life. Really though, great game, great gritty and dark storyline, great melee combat, gangsta gunplay like Max Payne-ish overall protagonist is just badass AF! It is the underrated gem of 2012. It is a definite must buy! Vault111

Trying to work my way through the AC series, and the reason I say trying is because I'm struggling to want to play ACIII. No idea what it is specifically, but I just don't enjoy the game at all, which is a far cry from AC2 of which I loved. Anyway, heard Blck Flag was actually pretty decent, so was looking forward to getting on to that one, but you've just kind of ruined it for me, ha! Daz
Ok so here is one for you. What the f*ck is that game from MS DOS or Win95 era where you had to do something in order to stop a space shuttle launch flooding or some sh*t? I am pretty sure it was some pre-installed sh*t game. Barely counts as a game as minesweeper is a more developed game. I may even be remembering it wrong but I just remember for sure the screen filled up and you failed. They forced us to play it in school.

Hopefully this'll turn in to a "each to their own" scenario and I actually enjoy Black Flag... Brotherhood was the last AC game I actually enjoyed playing through, whereas Revelations was more of a game I only found playing through just for the story, the gameplay itself frustrated me. HaythamKenway
The important thing about playing ACs nowadays is to not get caught up with checklisting and chasing after collectibles. These games can get incredibly tiring if you just force yourself to grind your way through all that content, but if you mix things up often and don't get lured away by completionist desires, it should be fun. AC IV and Rogue were when this problem peaked, but other than that, they're great games. If you want to play past that, feel free to skip Unity and go straight to Syndicate. Unity doesn't add much to the series' story (Templars orchestrated the Revolution to get rid of the old, ineffective system and ensure the rise of the middle class controlled by them and Assassins are dirty hypocritical cowards who will abandon the people once it will seem like they might lose some power of their own in the process - there, I saved you twenty hours of your time) and everything it did, gameplay-wise, Syndicate did better. Cudwieser
Just curious, but are ther any good (or playable) games for current gen (I'm on PS4 and kind-off PC (laptop actually) ) that either have no micro-transactions (Paid DLC is fine if it adds extra content that is just for fun or expansion), or where the micro transaction has little bearing on the game (No Paywalls or forced grinding). If you want to suggest a few retro games please do

trip
If you want to suggest a few retro games please do You sound cranky and longing for the old days before micro-transactions, DLCs and some of the other stuff we see and deal with in games these days. Laptop? Why not load up an emulator or two and enjoy some of those games from your past? Sure it might take an hour of poking around the internet to get that emulator running the ROM of one of your favorite games but hey...It's worth it IMO. I will always treasure my roms more than anything because if they have lasted this long they will last forever, unlike some broken games we get these days. They were at the peak of quality for that time before 3D. Games take a hit in quality whenever graphics get improved. Usually the best games are ones at the very end of a generation's lifecycle. When they have fully utilized every part of a machine. As for retro games, how about Retro City Rampage. Or Hotline Miami. Easily my fav of any kind of modern retro thing you will find. Also: Some c*nt please answer my post above FFS. KilnerLUFC

Retro Rampage seems fun too The greatest DLC/Transaction-free games are the Pokemon series. Speaking to the choir mate . Still have my yellow gameboy with RBY (Not GSC though). Tried a few for Stunt Race FX, but the ruddy thing was unstable so kind of put the roms on the back burner as I've a million irons in the fire at the minute. I try again if you can recommend a few good SNES and Genesis Roms. As for cranky, you have no idea. If all the micro transactions and DLC were simply garnish I'd be happy, hell I'd even pay for an expansion that is a game in its own right, but even stalwarts like Polophony have fallen foul (EA have been at it for years). At the minute the only game I play that avoids the worst of modernity is Disgaea (will pick up 5 when I get paid again). Out of curiosity does anyone know if most current JRPG's avoided the microtransaction thing? Ok so here is one for you.
