Find, Recommend or Remember a Game

This has been bothering me for quite a while. I cannot, for the life of me, remember the name of this game that I played around 16 or so years back.

It's a platform game and you play as a troll. 2 players was possible. The trolls were green and blue, I think. There was TNT in the middle of the stage. There was a level where the boss was a skeletal T rex.

Any help is gratefully appreciated.

I think the game you're looking for is Bonkheads.

Here's an artwork of the game:

Here's the Boss Battle you're talking about:

hqdefault.jpg

And here's a description of the game which also mentions the use of TNT, and T. Wrecks - the aforementioned T-Rex who is one of the game's bosses:

Bonkheads is a fun 2D action game designed for kids. The Troll brothers Grag and Thog must rid their home of annoying pests in each of the 144 levels that comprised Trollsville. You can play solo as Grag, or have a partner join the game as Thog to work together to save the town. You have to be careful, though, as giant bosses Shrew-Man-Chew, T. Wrecks, and D. Evil will do everything to stop you.

Although you play a big Troll, you can't beat your enemies to a pulp in this game (contrary to conventional wisdom about Trolls). Instead, you knock them out by 'bonking' them from below, then kick them away quickly before they wake up. If you wait too long and they wake up, they become more aggressive. And if they make it to the bottom of the screen, they 'warp' back from the top with an even faster speed. Dogs, raccoons, bees, and many more animals will charge at you from all cardinal directions, the action is fast and furious most of the time. Fortunately, you also can 'warp' (similar to Pac-Man) from left to right as you reach the edge of the screen, and there is plenty of power-ups to make your job easier. These include cases of TNT, cash (used to buy more stuff), speed-ups, and more. Trollsville's wisest elder Huntho is also ready to lend a hand, or at least a tip or two, when the going gets tough. The furious action is enhanced by colorful, detailed SVGA graphics that are smoothly animated. There is a number of settings you can change, including the difficulty level (easy, medium or hard). Although the game is not very difficult at first, the action gets more intense the more you play, so watching a demo is a good way to learn the basics.
Although the solo game is already a lot of fun, Bonkheads really shines in two-player mode. You can play either co-operative or competitive mode, and they are both a blast. With a lot of levels, many different enemies, and an all-around solid gameplay, Bonkheads is a keeper. Highly recommended, especially for budding action gamers in your house.

There's this game... it's kind of similar to Train Simulator but it's not. You could build tracks, there were also turntables. You could drive trains too.

I bought the game in 2007/2008 but lost it. Searched for it almost everywhere, still couldn't find it. :(

Just finished GTA IV and I loved it. My PC isn't capable of running GTA V so I've to skip that for now. Can you please suggest me some games that you like?

I'd still suggest trying it out in some way. GTA V ran a lot better than IV for me, just saying.

There is a lack of authentic war games on consoles right now.

Only ones that spring to mind on next gen are Sniper Elite 3, Wolfenstein and maybe World of Tanks. But I haven't played any of those.

I would suggest MGSV, because why the f*ck not? Who cares if it's authentic, it owns.

I remember that as a kid I played this game on a Mac computer where you played as what I think was a ladybug(not sure). I think the game started out with a cutscene where your father dies(not sure of this at all either) and it was a top-down 3d-game with enemies such as rat pirates. The camera was always fixed to a certain point and you could move to new areas by moving out of the current camera view. I remember always starting it over when I died so I wonder if there was no save option. Anyway, the map was like this tropical island of sorts and you could just wander off into a bunch of different paths right in the beginning of the game. I think the rat pirates were the main villains in the game and I actually managed to find and board their ship killing all the rat pirates inside, but I don't think it really lead to anything or I just didn't know what to do afterwards. Other areas you could find in the game were for example a desert, a horror forest and the bottom of the sea(I think you climbed to the ship from there). I also remember fighting a gorilla at some point. There might have been mounts as well. I have a feeling that no one will know what this is.

Could anyone recommend a war game? I have xb1.

New or old to next gen.

Spec Ops The Line if you haven't tried it. Supposedly the game makes you want to feel disgusted about war.

Suggest games where you play as a Bad/Evil guy/Demon, where the game is about being bad (preferably) or you have a choice to be really bad, a lot of gore would be nice too.

Already played: Kane & Lynch, GTA (obv), Postal, Fallout, Elder Scrolls modded, Payday, The Darkness 1 if that counts, memory can't recall other games.

Dont suggest Overlord, that game looks like a joke from what I've seen, controlling tiny goblins and going against 'corrupt' good guys, also my PC can't handle Hatred.

It's pretty known, but Prototype 1? Never played 2.

The suffering 1/2?

Game was ok, there's gore and you can choose to be bad, Logan also turns into a monster to create a mess.

Try Evil Dead: Regeneration, gore, deadites, Bruce Campbell, you'll enjoy it, unless you are allergic to awesomeness (groovyness)

As far as gameplay goes, it's pretty average. The story is definitely the reason why everyone should play through that game at least once.

A friend of mine really likes War Thunder. Another friend of mine plays Warframe a lot. They could be quite fun.

Definitely Saints Row IV.

I've never played the Infamous games, but Saints Row IV is really fun. (it's a tad unrealistic) It has a good story, fun dialogue, very interesting weapons, etc.

My personal favourite is TF2, then again I've put a...fair...amount of hours into it. There's quite a few f2p FPSs but I'll leave it at TF2.

Some random ones are Toribash, Hearthstone, World of Tanks, Neverwinter, Robocraft, Trackmania Nations Forever, Path of Exile.

There's also browser games (Tower Defense games comes to mind, like Bloons TD or Desktop TD) and emulators.

I don't recall there being an inFamous Complete Edition, but if you are talking about the inFamous Collection, then buy that one. It includes the original game, inFamous, the sequel, inFamous 2, as well as inFamous: Festival of Blood, plus extra missions and additional contents. The games also have more replayability as you can choose to be the good guy, or the bad guy, so your choices will change how the storyline goes on, and how NPCs interact with you. In fact, Karma also influences the behavior of NPCs, and they will come to help the protagonist in battle if his Karma is good, but will turn on the protagonist and throw rocks at him if he has bad Karma. The game uses comic book style cutscenes to extend the superhero motif further, which is something I really like.

On the other hand, Saints Row IV is just an expansion pack to Saints Row the Third marketed and sold as a complete game, and it's very short, so I wouldn't really suggest you that one. Furthermore, inFamous' storylines are very good, and you could also feel genuine emotions playing them, while Saints Row games are good if you just want a laugh at its over-the-top nonsense.

The choice is yours, though. Hope that helped.

How do you do it is also a good one if you're looking for sex education along with fun gameplay.
