I installed the update but now the subtitles in missions doesn't appear.

EDIT: I put the language in english and it got fixed.

you need to install gta 3 with full audio and copy gta 3 audio folder to GTA: Liberty City ´s folder, NOTE: don´t replace sfx.SDT and sfx.RAW because if you replace that files will sound weird and now the game will have sound and no crashes

Now that we have officially announced our reverse engineered gta3 and VC, I wonder if the authors of this mod are interested in basing it on our code.

It is now easier than ever to mix and match gta3 and VC code as needed.

It'll surely will make it easier to reduce a lot of external code dependency. More familiarity with opcodes and the trouble of adding custom ones (even to the level of scripts) should be a lot more accessible or direct indeed. Craig hasn't been active lately. I was just able to update the mod a few months ago. I think there's a list of work left in terms of fixes, especially cutscene heads. Modelling Man and spaceeinstein are the guys to talk to do about redoing the Conversation using the open source base for this.

So, the revolutionary Gold Graal of III Era was blocked to the public use by TT, will it be still possible to release things modifications/conversions with That thing

(according to the Liberty City project and many others) without fear? Honestly, it isn't very hard to be found.

Honestly, I was expecting that with the re Project seeing the light of day, we would have some backlogs from GTALC finally seeing the light of the day (train issues and cutscene head anims). With TT being such a buzz kill and lazy all the same, it's poses an unpredictability about what the future of mods will be in general.

how do i add the water reflection from gta vc?

and how can i make the HUD look GTA VC?

and how can i change the menu color? 

and how can i make the bottom font look like VC?

and how can i change the font on the weapon icon?

 

I'm using a different mod anyways so how can i do that?

Well. The game is running at 640x480 even though Ddraw.dll is installed. And it also crashes on the loading screen. How can i fix that?

Luckily. It`s not giving me an "Unhandled Exception" error anymore.

Hide this mod from Take-Two boys.

@spaceeinstein How did ya`ll get it to work though? Mine is after I start a new game. It gives me an error: An Unhandled Exception has occurred. And the only option is to press Debug or OK

I get it to work by turning off Data Execution Prevention (DEP) for the gtalc.exe and gtavc.exe files.
You can try this method, too. It should work, hopefully.

Hi, i need some help please.
I registered the traffic that allows boats to spawn in GTA LC. But no sounds are played when the player is driving the boat with the seaport guards following them.
I found the right sounds from RELCS. sfx 720 - 748
I will be glad to anyone who wants to help me. Here are a couple of screenshots showing random boats from boat traffic.

This bug still exists after compiling main.scm. Also, after compiling main.scm, checkpoint coordinates break in side missions on bikes, in which you collect checkpoints in a limited time.

Some missions have no sounds at all:
1 Mission Chaperone
2 Bomb Da Base: Act I and Bomb Da Base: Act II
I'm not the first person to have this problem.

If someone learning of audio and sounds used in cutscenes, in certain places on the map and possibly collects their own current base for themselves, then this is very good.

When I replaced and added new sounds, I read the Audio topic. But I think that in the last build the audio has changed a lot. And it is always very important to have up-to-date information.
This simple but useful information about audio is necessary to know exactly which sound or audio can be replaced and which one should not be replaced, but it is possible to put the sound in a more suitable place.
I'll give you an example. When I replaced the sounds of the seaport from the original vice city, the sounds did not work correctly. And after listening to the sounds themselves through the sfx manger program, I heard the voice acting of the ped.
At the moment, I assign my sounds to an id greater than 1029, and write it to the gta-lc.ini file
