Working now with the asi that was in the Dropbox folder. :D

 

Long term, I'd prefer to have the functionality of that built into our asi files directly. That way we don't need to worry about a potential 3rd party file crashing the game.

 

Also, any chance you can mute the flying DeLorean's helicopter sound?

 

And this one is for Silent, should we use your SilentPatch with this, or is most of that already there?

I can't seem to play this version of LC. It just crashes before I can even get in-game.

It'll be great if you can upload the whole thing. I can't reproduce or pinpoint the cause of the crashes that others seem to be getting.

U have when isnatll REDME u have that all stuff - no pont no need to check net to have all INFO u have ther AUDIO need or if not have disable in config some stuff to run witchout.

 

Also need 1.0 or 1.1 retail .exe of game - the steam version not work

Maybe add all game . Man 1st Pirate and secend u Can by game VC and III via steam or DVD versions.

 

But VC is only needed u can disable II audio files on .ini config

I'd do at least the major releases as full downloads with all audio. Then updates can be installed with just the modified files. But I think it's important to give everyone a base set of files that's as easy to install as possible. The wave files can be compressed to mp3 reducing their sizes dramatically.

 

Besides, I don't think we need to worry about people on dial up connections downloading it forever.

 

The GTA V 60 GB download I did (twice, plus a third 30 GB download) was big. This one is nothing :)

 

Also, I don't think it's important anymore that we require people to "prove" they own GTA3. Having VC is enough for me. If Rockstar ever feels strongly enough, they'll tell us.

I'd suggest against that, with audio_samples from VBDec you guys can now use whichever audio you want from various versions, therefore if space is an issue, the smallest ones are Xbox's WMA (128kbps), but then again, PC and PS2 are only ADPCM (256kbps) so it's not that much of a massive difference in size anymore.

I'll defer to your expertise in this matter. So go ahead and convert the files in their best quality/compression. :) I'm sure space would use them.

I suggest that Peds should be converted from Xbox Version. AK-47 is placed on MP5 slot, AK-47 should replace Ruger and did some little tweaks like edit FBI primary weapon.

I think is much more - u used cheats and random change and no can by time show all - better use player selector and check all faster. But for my 80% in mod look normal

aaaa ok then idk about it to install mods i reccomand FASTMAN92 IMG Console in it just type -help and in it you can export like multiple files at same time to .img and replace them

I guess he knows about the IMG way but he asked for modloader support... I guess spaceeinstein will do that in the next update if he feels like doing so.

I don't know if it's "officially" supported, but I've had no issues using modloader with GTA:LC.
