Passive Mode Money hack

Hello recently my GTA bank account was almost completely drained. On the bottom left corner it said that I was charged $10000000 for killing a passive mode player. I checked transactions and I had only lost $100000 since I had recently bought a plane and my money was low. I was left with about $50000. Is there any way to prevent this from happening again other than not playing?

No, there is no way to solve this problem until Rockstar Games sorts out a proper fix, therefore the only way to continue playing with any sort of "safety" is by playing in invite only sessions, or "public-solo" sessions.

 

Stay out of normal, populated public sessions on the PC version of GTA Online until you hear from RSG themselves - the issue is so big, they'll have to push an update to the game to fix it.
