Nightlife in GTA VI

Recommended Posts

This topic is all about bringing a euphoric, atmospheric nightlife experience to world of

Grand Theft Auto VI

Nightclubs

Presuming the GTA Next location is in Vice City or possibly Las Venturas, there are so many attractions to be explored bringing a whole new level of detail to the game at night.

Mini Games

Club Management

You are the manager of your own Nightclub, we can customize the appearance of everything from the lighting to the furnishings.

We can also hire staff to work for us.

DJing

A brand new mini game in which you must match the beat of a song or you will be booed and kicked out of the booth.

Dancing

A fun feature making a return from San Andreas and TBoGT.

Bouncer

This is a great idea and should be implemented to GTA6 for roleplaying purposes.

We should have a choice of multiple clubs to work at, the freedom is completely ours.

Entering certain clubs will require a fee, you can also get rejected due to dress code (Credit: Zello)

Drinking Games

A fun mini game that makes you drunk, waking up hungover at some random location.

Gambling

Casinos MUST make a return in GTA6. Returning with games such as Roulette, Poker, Black Jack and slot machines.

Drug Dealing

Yet another way to make money on the streets. (Credit: Still Madd)

Hotel/Motel

We can rent Hotel rooms and use them as we wish

whether it's a booty call or disposing of a body.

Hook ups

A big part of GTA is of course hooking up with the ladies.

Strippers should make a return.

House Parties

We should be able to invite our friends we met through story mode to our safe house,

they can hang out and completely interact with our safe house e.g sitting down, drinking, eating etc.

Will be updated.

Leave a comment with and idea and I'll add it to this post with credit.

A topic to my liking.

DJ-ing: not only should you to follow the beat, but also be able to fade tracks at the right time. SoundSurf style!

Dancing: should resemble the DDR, so you could connect your mat to it.

Bouncing: the variant where you actually have to watch closely who makes the trouble or deals without hints, or before them.

Drinking games should affect your controls at other minigames or incorporate the drunken camera. Drunken Darts! If you hit a even, you get a shot to drunk and your controls become even more wobbly.

Hotel/Motel: don't just screw your girl! Take her on a fukken adventure and drive between hotels as fast as you can while she drives you wild (hamper the steering, sight in FPV) with some hot action. Don't hit anything or she'll bite!

Hookups. Impress her as a part of foreplay! Get a wanted level, do a driveby, or a stunt! Get a really risky perspective on action without getting too NSFW! Too hot to show? Wobble the camera the right way, get audible, give the player the most of the action, even with the vibrating controller. A climax with 3 short and a long vibration wouldn't be anything of risky.

House parties!

Now if you can't expect some fun from your friends, let em crash yours! Call a pizza with a really mean slice and watch who dies from food poisoning first! Call the cops, Trevor is on dancefloor!

Eating: New Gen stands for advanced graphics. Strap in your best artists, Rockstar, because Final Fantasy has shown how to make a gamer's mouth water.

Now if it isn't a realistic steak, what then?

I think it'll be a fresh idea something we've never seen in GTA before, maybe the protagonist could be a DJ at the local club to earn extra $$$.

What a nice way to get sued.

Some nightclubs should charge you a cover fee or something to get in, other clubs could deny you entrance due to your character's clothing, and some clubs just wont let you enter at all.

gangsta-dj? ninja please. its not about freshness and new thing, its about ridiculousness. im ok with dancing minigames, sh*t, why not, everyone can dance, djing is an art. like playing a guitar. dont make it goofy, people already think its easy and compare top-world djs with high skills to kill the dancefloor to pushing play and sync button skrillex.

also, no EDM. lets stay with quality music, not a product.

Looking at this topic makes me keen to remind some people the main target of GTA. I know, it's okay to go into great detail in all the aspects of a game, but being able to be a DJ or using a dancing mat to dance in a game series like Grand Theft Auto is completely out of place. Let me remind you: the main target of GTA is doing crime (I don't think GTA should be purely about crime without non-crime aspects though), not about mixing songs or moving your real-life body to music.

*RAGE MODE OFF*

Though, I wouldn't mind the following:

  • club management - have it as a part of business a protagonist can buy. Let us change the interior design, staff and music playing inside the club.
  • dancing - keep it as it was in SA and TBoGT without any mats, Kinects and other sh*t like that.
  • drinking games - dunno why. Maybe because, if it was like OP described, it would be somewhat fun.
  • gambling - because.
  • drug dealing - *cough* criminal activity *cough*.

Also, as much as the idea of having house parties doesn't sound that bad, I'd rather change it to being able to hang out with a friend/girlfriend/boyfriend (only if a female protagonist exists) in protagonist's home and do some sh*t.

Most of those were in TBoGT, and most of them were very fun. It was cool waking up hungover on an island in Middle Park or in a random dumpster in Star Junction, I just wish some of those were more developed.

not that dancing is a core mechanism of the game... you know, its not obligatory, its optional, for everyone else beside you, who has some nightlife, and like to play with it in the virtual world.

Nightlife a cog for culture, art, but also for dark aspects, like prostitution, hazard, drugs, murders etc. Been there, seen something. Night is a cover for many disturbing thinga, though the light of the day shines on the scariest things and people.

The nightlife selection was terrible in GTAV. You walked up to Bahama Mamas, some time went by, and you walked out. Gee, how fun is that? Thanks Rockstar, for taking the time to code that lol. No, f*ck how GTAV does it, I want to be able to GO INTO nightclubs, and have drinking contests with the buddy im hanging out with.

If they do base a game on Las Vegas they have to quite simply make the best open world game ever especially in terms of interiors. Are R* up to the task?? Not sure to be honest and I'm talking about the interior part.

Well, to start off, we would need ability to talk to them. That would be the first step. It would give so much life ingame. Imagine going to bar just to go to bar... no interaction whatsoever. Wouldn't be fun. I would enjoy going there to listen the townman tell his stories.

Maybe ability to make friends with different people, so that they would join your gang etc. Also negotiating with gang leaders/members to unlock sidequests and gather reputation.

Ability to help others like in GTAV sidequest where you need to save that one guy under the pillars.

Stuff like that to give the immersion.

As long as I have the option of choosing to listen or attempting to beat the crap out of that bouncer to get past him but the fight should be a challenge.

Was expecting to see a rave when GTAV was named "Rush" I was very disappointed at the outcome. Tao Cheng is a horrible depiction of an ecstasy user.

Ugh.. I hate minigames.

How about meeting interesting characters at various areas of interest during night and start off a conversation that will lead to nice missions, unlockables, safehouses, and anything else to make it more engaging?

You got the wrong thread. This isn't the minigame thread. It's the nightlife thread.

I want a torch. Something that's been overdue a long time.

I want to explore the caves and the forests with said torch. I don't want wild animals to kill me though while I do it.

If we have another nightlife theme, I want them to improve the dancing, drinking, and(most importantly) the sexy time lifestyle(like Luis' booty calls).

This song would be awesome on a trailer, and one of the nightclub's dancefloor. :3
