Tame and calm, compared to the old times of no anti-cheat. Sure, You still encounter god mode glitchers, but the modders are far less frequent (though, not 100% abscent, but this is expectable - no game has a fool-proof anti-cheat still)

After who knows how long, I finally see a Level 8000 (exactly) player on PS5. Had 89.89 K/D. Reported and moved on. This one seemed harmless but still reported.

the glitch makes the game pretend to load into the account that has your stats, money, whatever, but it actually loads into the account that has nothing on it (with the stats from the account that does have sh*t on it), which is why you can save your money, whatever, and have it stick on the account that had nothing. if you do the glitch and save nothing, your account won't have anything on it and you wasted your time doing the glitch.
there's no ac (anticheat) on console, nor is it needed (you can't go to the lengths of pc modding on console, unless we're talking abt ps3/x360). gta online isn't crossplay so stuff like an ac DEFINITELY isn't needed (for now).

if this is complicated to understand, any youtube video on this glitch will hopefully explain it properly.

Yesterday I joined a cayo thru the phone. We were a full squad.. there was full gold and two art, all good. The host had given each of us a generous cut. However, when we got the end of screen summary, my cut was reduced to $0 and all I got were $50K for completing Elite.

 

Host was at the end animation screen and respawn in Los Santos so doesn't seem to have been related to any replay glitch. Host was in a public lobby, though.

 

Any idea what may have happened? Was it a bug or something else?

Most likely host tried to change the payout to 15 million, but R* recently patched it and greately reduced max heist payouts, to around 3 million I think? And if you go above that, everyone just gets $0.

Don't anyone tell me that it is not possible I've seen it with my eyes. Friends and I hopped on GTA Online after a while, only to rage quit. We play Xbox Series version of the game and guess what, I didn't even believe it until I see it myself but somehow there are cheaters! I don't know If this is common or known though. But it freaked me out. Like this gang of 3 started to randomly attack on me while I was discovering deep diving. I saw the attacker get literally nuked, got an RPG onto his head, got sniped twice and HE AIN'T dying. I had so much faith that cheating on console is impossible I doubted myself but these lifeless grifters attacked me so many times to convince me something's up. I'm deep under the sea, away from land and somehow I'm getting sniped like with pinpoint accuracy. I'm done with this game I swear. (I'll probably play again lol) How the hell is it possible to cheat on Xbox? Dude DM'd me to show his cheat software (He made sure to have a good "LOL" before it. I obliterated one of them with widowmaker but nothing happened. He kept punching me as I shot him with a god damn pump. These dudes were reckless and apparently they don't mind getting banned. I read a rumor that some claim it's possible for some cheaters to get into console lobbies with faking hardware id or something, too complicated for me. Any clue?

there's a God Mode glitch that is apparently working for all consoles.

Cheating seems to be up and in rise in at least in Legacy version. The normal things like people getting kicked, cheating in missions etc.

 

It's still not as bad as it once was but seems like some freely available mod menus have bypasses.

Got the game on PS5 about a month ago. I run into God mode cheaters frequently. Usually in a regular vehicle with a bounty on them going around wiping out everyone. Can't be killed no matter what. Has been pretty annoying. 

Also players who seem to know exactly where you are at all times, even if you go off radar, active ghost mode or even pay Imani to go out of sight. You can kill yourself and respawn somewhere else and they still somehow come to exactly where you respawn no matter where it is. Makes no sense to me.

Has anyone noticed a rise in bots in PC Enhanced spamming invites to custom deathmatches recently? Always low level accounts, clogging up your phone invites to custom deathmatches without any descriptions. Not sure what the goal here is.

The D5 is glitched, it has bullet proof windows, and they have way to make it explosive resistant also. You can still shoot the stickie from their hand, and it will blow them up. Hopefully that car finally gets patched in the update.

Spawns are easily predictable, and if they have goggles on, they can see you anyway.

Question: can modders teleport a vehicle that is being driven by another player? I have been in teleported vehicles as passenger before, but never while I was the driver.

This happened on PC Enhanced.

 

I was playing the prison break with randoms, as usual, this time I was pilot.

Nothing looked out of the ordinary, but something unexpected happened at the end.

When the ground team got into my plane, before I even managed to take off, we suddenly teleported to the parachute jump cutscene.

 

Naturally, I "accidentally" walked through the Buzzard's tail rotor to fail the mission (which caused the Buzzard pilot to quit), because I don't want to risk finishing a modded heist and getting my account corrupted.

1. Yes, you can get teleported in vehicles as a driver.

2. However, it could've been just a heist "insta finish" option which just skips part of the heist.

3. Just so you know, finishing a modded heist by accident won't get your account corrupted or banned, but you did right by failing it because it can potentially discourage the modder to run more modded heists for randoms.

I guess randoms’ failures finally provided a purpose - knowing what the options are to exit a heist quickly if a script kiddie has messed with. If there’s a way to fail it quickly a random will have found it and shown us the way - sometimes in ways I don’t think I could have imagined.. It’s a bit like the food chain where you realise some annoying pests do serve some kind of purpose in the wider ecosystem.

The God Mode D5 glitch is spreading then officially. Means the God Mode'd Rajiu and at least one Lazer I saw a about week and a half ago were the first warning signs of the God Mode glitch that people have been mainly using on the D5 is spreading to other things. Lovely.....

Yeah, I had a whole session of them yesterday afternoon. Hopefully the coming update patches this out.

It's been so good for me on Enhanced, until today. Got my game crashed by some red blip. It was clear as day. First they insta-teleported to another player, and soon after my game crashed when they reached for the menu again..

I've been receiving a lot of invitations of user-created DM via phone. There are accounts basically spamming invitations in public sessions for a 1-8 DM. Is it a new exploit?

Platform is PC obviously.

Seconding this, I posted about a similar observation a few posts ago.

 

So far they're luckily not too malicious beyond spamming your phone and really diluting legit invites, but here's hoping it's not a precursor to some new modder nonsense.
