I have made a decision.

 

This is supposed to be a fun game for good good people to talk about what they've achieved in GTA online instead of being ashamed about what they've done or wasted their time doing.

 

I have decided to remove the two players from the list who will not share their Rockstar Social Club details. They are not being open about their progress and have got something to hide. These people will undermine the authority of the OP and start to bring the honest intentions of the thread down a notch, until it eventually becomes a flaming war.

 

If there are doubts about your legitimacy you will be investigated. If you do not allow yourself to be investigated, you will not get on the list.

Not being on "The List." LOL

 

I never thought my game rank would mean so much to someone.

...profile is not visible.

 

Stop wasting my time.

 

I gave you my gt so you could come in game and see my level not so you could get into my game stats. I even stated that in my messages to you. I suggest you brush up on your reading comprehension. LOL

 

...you wanted to show him that you're rank 1000+ IN GAME? lmao. Because you totally couldn't transfer rank 1000 accounts until last month, right? Because if i see some rank 8000, he's automatically legit, right? Yeah, there's no way you're legit, since you're trying so hard to hide your stats. Why did you even come to this thread, you didn't reach that rank legitmately anyways.

Wtf is that kinda bullsh*t, it's not like it's personal info or anything. Enjoy your cheated rank 1000, maybe you'll create a new char someday and reach that rank legitmately.

What were you doing to rank up so quick? I've played for a longer time than you and only just passed rank 600.

 

That member is not legit I hope you know. They're just on this thread with a poser screenshot that is not theirs.

 

I'm positive that V4S is legit. I agree it is a low number of days for such a high rank but V4S was very dedicated to putting the time in with Crystal Clear Out 3 playlists and is also a fine racer that wins a lot of the premium races and takes advantage of double RP race opportunities. On top of that I think VS4 (at least at one time) did a fair bit of CEO work selling one crate at a time for 5000 RP per sale which ranks you up very quickly. So it is very possible if you are strict with yourself in how you play to reach the goal in a fairly short period of time. I myself have only a few days more playtime (though with a lower rank I admit) and I'm legit. In my case I went through a period of about sixteen months where I made sure to rank up at least once a day every day. It was one rank a day at a minimum so sometimes it was quite a few more. Mainly it was done with playing freeaim contact missions and taking advantage of double RP events.

In regards to the post of AmyStone I said I was sure V4S was legit because we played a lot (and I do mean a lot) of the Crystal Clear Out 3 playlist job together which is very boring work so if V4S was a modder or what have you I doubt they would have bothered playing so much Crystal Clear Out. Also being on each others friend list I get to see the race times they have managed on the leader boards so I know V4S is a good racer based on that. I guess the having a similar writing style thing is just a coincidence.

 

If you are interested I can pm you the link to a video with commentary I uploaded to YouTube back in October last year in which I reach rank 1000. You can actually see me reach the milestone in the video plus I talk about the methods I used to get there. Doesn't actually prove I'm legit I suppose as I could have modded to rank 999 beforehand a cynic could say but it would perhaps go someway to proving my legitimacy.

After chatting with V4S in PM they have asked NOT to be included in the list, for reasons of privacy. I will add V4S if they change their mind.

Yeah, alot of people seem to think that actually. The amount of "omg u modder pls gib money look ur level lol" I get on a daily basis is mindblowing. Some kid even claimed noone could reach 500 legit...

 

OT, I'm closing in on 1000 myself. RP-wise between both chars I'm probably over, and adding in the characters I had previously back when you couldn't pay 100k for a plastic surgery, ... bla bla bla I'll return to this thread when I reach it on a single character.

Firstly, where's the link to your own Rockstar Social Club page, so we can all have a look at that? Why don't you share those details in your profile or on this thread?

 

Just saying. Some people are really sensitive about sharing their gamertags or RSC details, and others have asked NOT to be added to the club.

 

There are people who definitely are cheats and shouldn't be in the club, but questioning the honesty of everyone else isn't a good idea. All you have to do is play the game and you'll get to level 1000 eventually.

It's not that I don't belive you, I'm just curious what game modes you guys are playing.

 

I'm currently at rank 983 with 220 days played, that's a staggering 120 days more than some of you and I'm not even 1000 yet.

 

My legit money is much more than yours though, so again I'm wondering what game modes you guys are playing.

Gotta be something that gives huge rp and bad money.

You have to take them at face value, but there were periods where there were significant RP glitches available (I'm thinking of the hover-helicopter-over-madrazo's one for instance) so any "legit" rank could contain a little bit of boosting.

 

For example, I never glitched RP using methods like the above, but when there was a World Record bug active at the same time as live 250K challenges, I was getting 5000RP per lap of criminal records plus the win etc, just as a side-effect of raking in the prize money (and being clever about progressive lap times). I wouldn't say I cheated, but I would say that 3-4% of my rank didn't exactly come from grinding out Potshot...

What me and myst-43 have been doing is mostly selling crates (1 at a time), we have 5 warehouses each and switch so we get no cooldown and this pays very good RP but not much money. Then we often do 2x stuff.
