I’m at 10XX (can’t remember exactly) which I hit a few months back. Online player since early 2014. 
 

More importantly I have over 10,000 race losses!

Do contracts to max out your agency safe and payphone stuff, it soon adds up on the RP. I got 2000 during the Alien Invasion and didn't really do anything until this DLC and I'm coming up on 2018 now.

Special Cargo is 2x this week. Just park your Terrorbyte outside your Apartment and make sure you have done f.e. the first Fleeca Job Setup so you can use Lester Invite as teleport back to apartment after each sale. Rotation between 5 Warehouses will bypass the sale-cooldown and I have gone up 10 levels from 920 to 930 just playing tonight. As you are selling the crate instantly it's better to park the Terrorbyte outside Apartment, not between two warehouses like most people seem to do.

Arcadius Office & Integrity War Apartment is the best combo for that imo!

Yes! I used Eclipse Tower before but after doing Elite-runs on Apt. Heists as host I needed to buy a couple of new apartments and I also use Integrity Apt now. I don't know if it makes any difference but it's more central in the middle of all my Warehouses.

 

I do have Maze Bank Tower as Office tho. But no real use for the Office in this method as I use the Terrorbyte anyway. I used to call for the Luxury Chopper and start the next source from Maze Bank before I found this method.

Its been over 2 weeks now, and even though i have a very solid case to make now (see below) R* support really doesn't care at all, several tickets later they continue pushing standard responses like the incompetent little sh*ts they are. So just remove me from the list i guess, or chuck me on some 'honorable mentions' list for having at one time been legit 1k+? heh.

 

It was good to be one of the few recognized legit level 1000+'s for as long as it lasted  i sincerely hope nobody else on the list ever loses their progress to some f*cking russian children.  Those damn kids ruined the game for me for 5 years straight (99% of the cheaters and griefers i ran in to over the years) and now one of them actually won, f*ck.

Fun facts:

- A week after the ban i figured out that somebody used social engineering to defeat 2FA on my Steam account, my R* account has no 2FA and is linked to that Steam account, thats how he got in.

- I have solid proof of this (directly from Valve & from Steam logs, there was several logins from russia on my steam acc & valve confirmed they launched games with it both before and after the ban, including gta:o) but R* support doesnt even care enough to look at the proof
- Even though the account is banned, i noticed a bunch of friend requests have been sent to it just days ago, by other russian accounts that only have gta5, the only conclusion i can draw from this is the f*ck still uses my R* id or whatever to hide their own account id?

- I tried to get Valve to help (as in, have them directly contact R* to maybe reach somebody competent) but got told they "dont discuss details about accounts with other companies", wich i can kind of understand but still god f*cking dammit, i was really hoping i could use the competence of Steam support to balance out the incompetence of R* support, but alas.

Managed to reach level 950 last week during 2x on Special Cargo so I am already halfway to my goal. Now I have no idea how to grind RP efficiently this week. Sure I could be doing 3x Adversary Mode on Power Play, but I really don't do PVP anymore and I would guess doing it with random players will result in people pointing at you calling you a cheater in this level and so on. Any tips? So far I have been grinding cash since thursday.

If you keep on playing GTA the RP will come naturally over the coming months, so don't sweat it, and pushing to specifically grind 50 levels can be tedious instead of fun. Why do activity X that you don't enjoy, over activity Y that you do? For example, I currently have 98 million RP, which is more than double what you're aiming at just from doing what I do. I never grind RP.

I've started doing Contracts now that I find to be fun. But deep down I am just simply a hardcore grinder I suppose. If there is 2x on something like Special Cargo, I will grind for days without sleeping sometimes. It's just who I am.

 

I have also started grinding Cayo Heists now even tho Idont need money. Not sure what I find to be funny in this game anymore. I usually hunt for awards weeks like this.

I lost my account a few weeks ago too. (1200+) it's a downright shame but I got there in less than 3 years. I was totally addicted. So it's been kinda nice having my urge completely killed to stop the insanity.

I was reading Rockstar's Newswire bonuses today. So I decided to log in and finally get that 1000.

 

Game didn't show up the 1000 Globe after the contact mission for some odd reason.. Anyway.

The "coin flip" animation is broken at the moment, according with members of the forum it's only working in Heists.

Congratulations on reaching the much-coveted 47 million RP landmark, a.k.a. LL1K!

 

My personal goal is to reach 100 million RP. I am currently level 1581 with 98.8 million RP. That's more than double LL1K!

I actually went all through till rank 1010 and 48,3 mil RP after 1000, haha. But I don't think I'll keep playing at this pace like I used to.

Im rank 886 atm, it's like it takes forever after reaching 800, maybe in a year or a bit less im finally rank 1000. I played the game for 4361 hours so far, that is 181 days and 17 hours. Almost a half year (182.5 days) damn, if i think about it, that's crazy.

 

Other games i played pretty long are Fallout 76 for 3400 ish hours, and Battlefield 2 for 3000 ish hours. So much time wasted on pixels lol.

Wait till you hit 1000. It takes forever to rank up one level! I'm currently sitting at 1287. At these levels, you need at least triple RP to rank up at a decent pace.

When I hit this level RP wont matter to me as I dont have any realistic higher goals with my level. That is gonna take away a part in the game for me I am sure. Cant set that kind of goals with cash grinding. So in one way, I dont feel like rushing now last 40 levels but at the same time I want to see me reach 1000 after so much work...

 

Another sad thought is someday all this will be in the past(GTA 6 or whatever) and my most nostalgic game ever I think. I've played for almost 10 years now and  a lot of friends I have found last years. Ofc it gets a emotional value by then.

I never even tried for levels throughout my time playing but I am still in the mid 1500s. If I spent less time killing people and more time doing RP stuff, I could have been in the 1700s most likely.

 

But I haven't played actively in 3 years.

2000 was totally meaningless, so my advice is enjoy 1000 when you get it. It means a lot more.

Honesty I would've hit 1100 by last year (since I hit rank 1000 in dec 2020) but don't play this game that much anymore.  Ever since I've hit rank 1000, I've lost interest in the game long-term i.e. playing every day. I only really play the game properly when new dlcs come out and that's about it. 
 

 
its just such a shame that there is really isn't any proper alternative to gta o in the online department.

I've quickly realised that the legitimacy of being 1000 has now been watered down so much that its becoming difficult to determine who hasn't used exploits to reach the rank they're currently at. Sessions are now oversaturated with cheaters using RP glitches. So glad this forum and the people who use it are bigger than that!

It's not really hard to tell that if they don't hide their stats. But yeah, if R* do nothing about this new exploit (which is most likely what's gonna happen), then it's a bit messed up.

The only person who really cares about your stats is you. I have never ranked up to impress other people and going beyond LL1K is a cross to bear rather than a blessing to enjoy.

 

I sometimes do a mental calculation of the ranks in a busy lobby, to find my rank higher than the cumulative total! There are pros and cons: people gravitate to you and send you cheeky messages, but you can hold your head up high as a legit GTA devotee and knowledgeable connoisseur of the best game of all time. No one can take that away from you.

 

If you cheat RP, you're unwise for not organically enjoying the game over time. Outwardly you may look like an experienced player, but inwardly you are weak. The only person that really cares about you is you, so cheat yourself if you must.

 

I am nearly at 100 million RP! I will post a picture when I get it. That's more than double the 47.5 million needed for LL1K. It's mostly for me though to revel in how much I love GTA online.
