Hey, folks!

 

Thanks for your continued support of this thread over the years, but time has passed and it's time to say goodbye. Rockstar surely know that they made a huge mistake not recognizing level 1,000. Sometimes, I play in a racing playlist with 10 to 12 players of 750 and above, some even over 2,000, so it's remarkable that Rockstar didn't see it coming.

 

The bottom line is, reaching level 1,000 in 2020 is no longer a major achievement but merely a statistic and an average accomplishment for anyone who plays GTA online on a regular basis, but the list of 100 LL1KC members will forever remain a shrine for those of us who did it within a reasonable time limit.

Due to a previous 'oversight', @Lonely-Martin was incorrectly removed from the LL1KC honors list on page 1.

 

He has since been reinstated at position No.2 , only below @alkaline_, who is the club's first special member.

 

There are now 101 members of the club, which is currently open for discussion.

It's a really repetitive process, asking people to open up their wall, post the correct information, etc., especially with the swathes of freebie accounts on PC and the amount noobs joining every month.

 

Maybe a new rule is needed: GTA Forums member for at least a year?

Blimey, this thread got to 52 pages. Fair play.

 

I gave up caring about my level at 1300 but since I've had no slots for vehicles and more money than I could ever spend I've gone back to it because there is nothing else to bother with in the game really, aside fom the odd award or trophy.

 

I wish we'd got another week of AW, thanks to that I went up 17 levels and 40 Sponsorship Tiers.

 

Currently at 1558 and 2000 feels like a veeeery long way off yet.

Currently sitting at 1161. I'm not sure if I see myself getting to 2000, either. Or even 1500, really. But with next gen version coming, 1500 might be a possibility for me.

 

I am really getting bored with this game, though. The next gen version better be a good upgrade.

I'm on my way, eventually will get there... Rank 866 as it stands combining all of my characters' RP, including wiped ones since the RP I obtained on them was legitimate.

To dispute any doubts about rank legitimacy, I've played over 220 days (still visible on my main SC) and I do have photo evidence of past wiped characters, even if they're just sh*tty ripped stills from a video I recorded.

Honestly @Jenkiiii i feel like you should let somebody else run this if you're no longer up for it, while you might feel like reaching 1k is meaningless today im pretty sure a lot of people disagree. Im about 40 levels off and once i hit 1k i will be looking for a similar crew if nobody revives this one  (but really, i would like to become part of this one)

You have to dumb yourself down, buddy, and not think about it too hard. Most people I play with are so stoned they can hardly hold a conversation, so I have fun with it when I'm in the mood and tune out and log off when I'm not. It's just a game and I'm sure you could grind out another 15 levels if you really wanted to.

I do, though not quite as keenly as previous spells. Bit busy IRL but also more just awaiting to see what comes this winter and keep things ticking over like collecting the bonus cash ready for then too. I'm sure if R* do this heist well, I'll be all over it like a rash.

So true but I really don't want to. Nothing the game has to offer appeals to me any longer. I have tried several times but always stare at the screen in boredom so I blow up a few people and turn it off. Moving to PC 10 months ago couldn't even fix it. I had my account setup to match the one on PS4 exactly, even the level. Now I have TWO accounts stuck just under 1k (even though PC will never be "legit")  I keep telling myself I will try again once stunt races hit 2x but playing on console now isn't easy, the generic graphics, that abysmal frame rate, it's just too painful.

 

So instead I play the games on PC that I missed out on while nursing a 4 year addiction to GTAO. I have at least 100 to go through but I get addicted easy and right now it's Horizon 4.

Short update for no reason on my rank, I just realized I have to hit around rank 350 to 400 if I want all my accumulated RP to be over 1000... lmao it's gonna be hell to get the silver globe again

I'd be happy getting level 750 so I can get a golden globe. It will take about another 19 million RP for me to reach level 1000 (I'm currently 714 at the time of this post) but then there was a time I took a year off the game due to the grinding burnout I got before I got back into the game helping newer players progress, making them wealthy too and helping them complete their heists. If I played everyday instead of taking that long break then I would be around level 900 - 950. But if I do play pretty much everyday from now till next gen comes out then there's a chance I could be near or at level 1000 by then.

It's a very common path from GTAO, a lot of people I know have moved to Horizon and enjoying it. For car aficionados it's a proper game with proper cars. You can't exit the cars, but cars themselves are so much better. Tunes, vinyls and all the customization is a nice bonus.

Then don't play it. Don't go for these 15 ranks, that will change nothing. What will you do after, just leave the thing? With these ranks remaining you can keep it on the back burner for some time just to play after. I haven't played any game since probably mid-July because there is nothing that interests me plus I have a lot on my plate to invest in games. New GTA is not coming, no new Forzas are around and the stuff I have is...well.. not that attractive anymore.
