Bloody hell!!!

 

My stats in the pause menu has just shot up to 92.9m RP.

 

Man, I'm rather pissed (I'm a numbers guy). I hope I can get a fix, otherwise, bollocks!

 

What even is 92m in rank?

that number is really absolutely irrelevant, seeing as mine shows only 3 mil which is like rank 180

Crazy really, lol. But yeah, I've seen a few players now have this all messed up, I've cooled, lol. The bar at the top of the screen is all good, and my social etc.

Well, turns out I've been privately called out on my level around here. Apparently there are those who don't believe you can make 20,400 RP per hour.

73,000,000 RP / 3564 hours equates to that number. Many of you have an even better hourly average I imagine?

20,400 is quite easily attained.

I can make 22,000 rp in 10 mins

With a friend i can make over 60,000 rp in one hour fifteen min in occupy when it's double rp.

Even when i was totally destroying piracy/exec search with killing/air quota and occupy to name a few i have never managed more than 582,776 average rp per 24 hrs...that's with friends letting me win...that's 24,282 rp per hour,i can't really see me pushing the grind any heavier,after that me eyes watering and stinging,feeling like a zombie and that was a very lucky time with hardly any disconnections or being stuck in clouds,no waiting for players,no one quitting,just me and a friend boosting cash and rp like crazy.But again,we experimented heaps with kills/timing,playing time per mission or job till we got the rp as quickly and efficiently as possible.Without their help there would be no way for me to earn anywhere near this much rp per hour or day.

I've found relying on others only slows my pace, and free roam events aren't good for earning RP. Racing is where it's at, if you're any good that is. That's easy RP.

You got them races downpacked as to which ones you do,x amount of players,time taken,laps or any other setting to speed up rp?

Yeah, pretty much has to be a double-digit field, ideally with it running 6-8 minutes. I believe after 8 minutes RP is capped.

If it's clear the field is too small or the race will be too short, I find another that's worth it.

...which race is a good example,which one do you always go back to,how many laps,how many players,catchup on or off,gta mode or normal.....i'm keen to know the tricks?

...you must know this by now you have way over 8,000 races under your belt

Double digit as in 10 players or more. 

Any stunt race pretty much works, provided it’s at least 2-3 laps. The time is less important than the size of the player field. If you have 10-16 players you can get 5,000 RP for a win even if it’s only 5 minutes.

Stunt races are good because a lot of people still play them even when it’s not 2x RP.

I don’t typically do the hosting so catchup is normally on, but no GTA mode in stunt races so i don’t have to worry about that.

I like tracks that emphasize skill, like Gauntlet. That’s probably the best one to separate yourself from the competition. Some others like Double Loop are too easy and too much is out of my control. 

If some other form of racing is 2x RP, like transform, I’ll play that because many others will be, although I don’t enjoy it because I feel catchup mode is too strong in those.

No hesitancy from me, ask anything you like and I’ll let you know my thoughts.

Hey folks,

Just some quick news about the OP of this thread. The recent downtime and changes to this forum have made the OP into a right mess, so I'll shut up about my feelings and instead thank the GTAF staff for getting the site back up and running.

The OP has been restored to its former glory. It doesn't look quite as  pretty as before, but all the names and numbers are correct.

Keep on plugging away with your RP gains and achievements, and feel free to post your ranking experiences here.

OK so thanks to double Transform Races, which I always smash, I'm coming up on 996 and aim to be at 999 by end of tomorrow....

 

So how do I get the cool ranking up cutscene? Sure I read it here but can't find it now. Gang attacks and Simeon missions, was it? I want to make hitting the big one giffable rather than just sh*tty post-race onscreen text seeing how it's taken nearly 5 years...

Gang attacks are iffy for this; depending on the amount of npc’s in that gang attack can exceed you seeing the rank globe, since it flips if you kill over the amount of enemies required for it (tested this before). Usually it’s partly controllable since you can keep an eye on your RP easily, and it’s 10RP per gang attack kill iirc, then always 500RP after all are dead.

 

Most gang attacks have 10 to 25 (30 max) guys in it so 600RP/750RP ballpark you should leave before thinking about capturing it. The screen will always show your character in these but in contact missions sometimes your character will walk off screen, unless you want a cutscene to go with said gif. Ymmv on this; for example in Martin missions, if you’re not the package carrier you might not see your character at all (they appear off screen).

It qualifies, but you'll have to post an image of the login screen with both characters, so why not wait to rank up another five levels (you can do it) and then post the link to your stats on the RSC? Looking forward to adding you to the club.
