Have any one of you guys every started a fight between two other playe

It cut off my title so. Has anyone of you guys ever started a fight between to other players because you killed one of them and they thought it was someone else?

 

I have done it twice that I know of. the first one I had a friend that was on the same server we were not playing together he was playing with someone else and happened to join so I decided to have some fun with him and his friend. I mugged him and then for some reason he lagged out while his friend he was playing with was AFK. I could not mug his friend so I called mercenaries on him as he was just sitting AFK in his car. I was watching this all from my tv in my apartment. The mercenaries killed him basically just as he came back from being AFK.His first words were um why am I not in my car and for some reason someone else in the lobby said you have a car? that was all it took and the fight was on for about an hour because he thought he had killed him. I did not watch but the first 5 minutes of the fight, though. The second time for some reason I had killed a guy and he thought it was someone who was just talking on his mic to someone else and went ballistic cussing the dude and trying to kill him like crazy and every time he died to the dude he just got madder and madder. For some reason, he was relentless and just kept coming no matter how many times the other guy killed him. He was bound and determined to get a kill on the dude but it never happened .

Yes lots of times. While griefing I have turned many friends against each other. Its quite hilarious. They end up mad at each other for making mistakes while trying to kill me. Good times.

once upon a time in a crunchy stuntrace. it was a fair battle between him and me, the fluffy penguin. no pushing, no dirty tricks, no throwing old eggs at each other hihihi. then the third guy came into play and catch up on us. then the second guy spinning out like ui ui ui and he was screaming like "just why, you friggin ugly penguin, WHYYYYYYYY!!!!!" but it wasn't me who pushed him. so he told everybody through the mic, they should come after me, cause i play unfair, he was like yeah use my slipstream, get this penguin, push him out the track and others were like we will kick this moron after this race... luckily i survived and managed to win and then leave the lobby. i was one poor penguin who did nothing wrong but got cursed at and got so much wrongful hate hihihi

My question for you would be: Have you ever been killed by a player and then mistakenly killed a different player, thinking it was the one who killed you?

I've chased down blips, convinced it was the person I was after, only to learn that I was wrong and my real target was actually hiding in their apartment. ugh!

not really. never had that happen unless I was afk when I was killed and the blip was the closest to me or something and I just figured ok kill them anyway it might have been them. starting a fight between to random people is not really old hat on online or at least not for me. I don't see it often

Not intentionally. I have the habit of rolling up between two fighting players and taking them both on myself.

It's really nice to see them put aside their differences to kill the lady in the fox mask with the big gun.

I got two hotheaded assholes to actually try to fight each other IRL. I went to my sniping spot killed guy one after respawning guy one runs towards guy two with his gun out. So I sniped guy two and with that the festivities started I haven't laughed so hard in my life. To my understanding they both lived in the same city so I really hoped the real fight went down

There were 2 guys outside LSC - one stood next to his car with all the doors and the bonnet open, and the other doing donuts in front of him. I was on Arcadius with my sniper rifle. It only took one sniper shot to the donut puncher for him to run the other guy over. Twas hilarity.

It's hilarious when someone goes hellbent after the wrong guy.

 

I was guilty of it myself the other day. Hammered it across the map only to mow down the wrong dude. Was only a lvl 20 something aswell.

LOL I use highlight player sometimes to go hunt down dudes who kill and run away. Highlighted the wrong person one time and the poor fool didn't know why he was being murdered endlessly. Didn't realize till later it was the wrong guy and had to send a text saying I was sorry and it was meant for someone else.

It can be done. You need to be in a party chat. It's been a long time since I have done it but I have been able to catch ingame chats using the capture feature

What HAS happened, very very often, is that I bring a whirlwind of chaos to an area of the city and leave a massive war behind. One of my favorite things to do is drive around in an Insurgent with the Hostile Takeover briefcase. I'll circle around downtown until a few people are chasing me. Then I leave a few well-placed sticky bombs, blow everyone up, and drive away giggling as they start killing each other instead of chasing me. I've definitely inspired lots of hours-long blood feuds between guys who were all trying to take me out and ended up respawning on foot, with no one there to shoot but each other.

 

Even better is when I dip in on someone's MC or CEO work, steal their objective, and sow instant seeds of dissent. More than once I've run away with someone else's briefcase or car, inspiring the CEO to fire his help and then start murdering them. Priceless.

Sticky bombs disappear if you get too far way from them they will not detonate and just disappear. Used to be different even with proxies you could toss them and leave them but I think they even disappear after a while now. There was one time where a car was following my friend and I and we dipped into an alleyway and tossed proxies down the way a bit and then tossed some just before we exited it. We blew up the dude and he left the game and we forgot about the proxies. An hour later we both all of a sudden got random kills and were like WTF and we remembered about the proxies. Now though it doesn't work like that as far as I know. I think you have to be in proximity to the proxies and sticky bombs. Also as a CEO and MC you can't kill your crew unless they have friendly fire off and if they are on a mission the only reason for them to be dying like that is because when they do they transport to your location. My friends and I messed over some MC dudes who were doing one of those missions and after I got the briefcase they started committing suicide and every time they died they would spawn in front of me. I made it all the way to the drop off point just before one of the guys spawned in front of me and shot me through the window. My friend killed him and finished the drop off but that is the only reason that they would kill their self in a mission like tht.

I don't remember all the steps its been a long time but I had it where my Ps4 recorded the game chat. I would always go into a party chat and set it as private so no one else would join. It was a very long time ago and I did a few videos where you could hear others talking in game. I now use Elgato mostly for recording ps4 stuff if I want the voice. It might have been the headset I was using at the time allowing for it I am not sure.

Never started one but if I see two people arguing then I'll vote to kick one of them so it looks like the person they're fighting with done it. Always leads to more arguing and fighting.
