AkshayKumar
I have never modded my games Combination of being lazy and just preferring to play the base game. I've always been a casual gamer I guess Failed Again and DODI3OG

Infact it looks like a game that couldâve been released 5 years ago. Definitely doesnât inspire feelings of âwow thatâs next genâ. If it was on PS5 I still wouldnât play/buy it.  Then again Iâm not the biggest fan of Bethesda anyway and only like a small portion of their games.   Graphics and gameplay looks like it was 2017-era last-gen game, tbh. A lot of commentaries say it's really next-gen, but what's so next-gen about it? It's just a AAA version of No Man's Sky based on what they revealed at this point. XD Here's my confession: This is mostly the case for me with action-adventure games. I wouldn't play one in a trilogy or such unless I played the first title. Witcher 3 is an exception to this, though. I wanted to play the reboot Tomb Raider games since 2014, but never got the time to play them in college and I had Shadow and Rise of the Tomb Raider for quite some time now via PS Plus, but I've never touched them until the reboot Tomb Raider was on sale for $3. XD Same for the Metro series. It wasn't until the trilogy bundle went on sale for $15 that I decided to start playing. The animations and sound design on the first two games are really outdated since they were from the PS3 era. Metro Exodus has all the bells and whistles of current-gen, but it still feels outdated in most scenarios. These games remind me of Bioshock, more on that below. After finishing Bioshock Infinite, I always wanted to play the DLC and the first two remasters. I got the collection since 2020, but I Bioshock Infinite was the only one I was able to finish.  Since the late 00s and early 10s, I've heard a lot of good stuff about Final Fantasy. Old friends of mine used to talk a lot about it back when I was 11 years old, and even an old flame talked a lot about it even though she never played any of the games. My first Final Fantasy game is the VII Remake. I think it's good, but the setting and the cheesyness isn't for me. The characters really look punchable, esp. Barret and Sephiroth. DODI3OG
Everytime I encounter a frustrating game mechanic like unnecessarily bullet-spongey enemies while I am a one-man army, it makes me swear at the devs for not doing the difficulty logically harder like, obviously more intelligent AI who know how to flank, instead of being bullet sponges.  Also, everytime I encounter other frustrating mechanics like grinding for days just to prolong a boring game, I would look up the best exploits to one shot my way through.  Thank GOD, Ghost of Tsushima wasn't that boring. It was frustrating at the start trying to learn perfect parries and perfect dodges and it was also irritating everytime an archer lands a shot on me just because I was hitting melee mobs with combos. The Time Ranger
I like the Hitman franchise but i'm really bad at it so I just play it like a regular shooter, no class, finesse or attempt to remain undetected, I just run and gun baby. DODI3OG

People think I'm ridiculous for it and tell me I'm wasting my time and money but IDGAF, it's the only hobby I have that distracts me from my depression. 70 plats is a lot! Â I've finished about 50 games now, but the amount of games I had 100% is very dismal. I can't even plat games I love like RDR1, RDR2, Zero Dawn, etc. Even though I 100% most open world games. Some trophies just don't make sense to me.
Mexicola9302
I still haven't finished RDR2, the game feels so slow paced and boring, every few months i maybe played a chapter, now im at the last chapter. But i just can't get myself to finish it. Â I probably gonna start playing Resident Evil 5 again, maybe tomorrow or something. Even tho i already played that game through like 15 times. But i never had a original version of it, so all my savegames from many years ago are gone. I will have to start over, with standard pistol, no fancy upgrades etc. Â I bought the entire collection of all Resident Evil games a few weeks ago, i started to play RE0, but damn this game is so damn tedious gameplay wise, i think i will just skip 0, maybe even 1, and then just directly go to 2 and 3 remakes. At least they look great. Â Edited July 16 by Mexicola9302 The Tracker and DODI3OG 1

I agree that TW3 is packed with more content, it took longer to make and release, after all. But, I think in terms of storytelling and immersion, they're on par. Â I agree with you, though. It's sooo slow-paced and boring. Especially since most missions you have to travel from one end of the map to the other and through winding roads and rivers. Â I'm still on chapter 2. Barely made it to the middle of the chapter, though. I love everything except for the ambient challenges and the inconsistent animal spawns. At this point, I've built my LOTE satchel already and I'm 1/4 on my talismans while I'm also working on my LOTE outfit. I quickly played through TW3, it just felt more exciting and more fun in general to me. I started playing it and just pulled it through, i didn't pause it for weeks or something, nah i just quickly did one playthrough. Â I can't understand ppl that spend hundreads of even more than thousand hours in RDR2, it's just way too boring. I guess it's just not my cup of tea, i can play slow paced games, but it must still feel exciting in a way. The worst in RDR2 is like you mentioned the travelling across the whole map. With a fast travelling option to everywhere, i might have enjoyed the game. Riding horses for hundreads of miles is just boring, and really really nothing else. I think Witcher 3 was the longest game I was able to finish in one consistent playthrough as I played it and nothing else for around 3 weeks. It was fun grinding for the armors since you really had something to grind for. Â RDR2 is just mostly story and passive stat-building. Then the grinding stops until another portion of the game world is unlocked... Also, the map gets boring after a several hours. I usually play it really slow, riding with my horse, unless I had to take something from camp. But, a lot of times I feel the urge to just fast travel to the waypoint. XD For several times now, I've lost perfect and legendary carcasses after it was damaged when it fell off my horse. I hope we were able to attach wagons. Perhaps, a game set in the 1870s-80s would let us do that. Â Also, the legendary challenges were boring to finish, other than to boost my stats. Also, why tf does it force us to do the bandit challenge? I had to make up a story that my Arthur got desperate and started robbing people... The Time Ranger
I've played several Legend Of Zelda titles over the years but have mixed feelings regarding them. I thoroughly enjoy the lore, great soundtracks, colorful characters and striking world and character design. However I play the games for those, not out of enjoyment of the gameplay loop, I find that the combat is fine but the puzzle heavy dungeons are a tedious slog. AkshayKumar
Algonquin Assassin
Honestly up until a couple of weeks ago I didnât care for the Last Of Us Remake like at all, but since the leaks dropped and everyone started causing a ruckus over it being a âcash grabâ not worth the price,  the heated remaster vs remake debates etc it drew my eye to it now I want to try it myself and will be preordering it.  Part II was similar. Never cared for it in the years leading up until the release, but when people started complaining about the story it made me curious to see if it was really that bad. Now Part II is not only  one of my favourite PlayStation games, but one of my favourite games ever.  I guess to put it another way I actually find controversy/negativity more fascinating than near universal praise when a game is about to be released or just after especially with AAA games. Itâs not always the case, but there are games Iâve literally been drawn to because theyâve managed to cause such a stir and in most cases I end up liking them.  Kinda always been an against the grain type of guy though. It'll also be a refresher for my niece since she's a huge fan of Part 2.   Algonquin Assassin
