Most of the story missions are so boring, for Instance Los Sepulcros: Drive to the location, shoot around and drive back. Oh my! The most intense 5 minutes of my life.

 

I hate Cesar, he's so boring. Ryder would fit better on CJ's side.

When I see the quantity of car races Rockstar added in the game and how awfully the handling regressed compared to Vice City I wonder if they didn't add all these races just for the pleasure of torturing people's minds.

You don't need to be so agressive because you don't share my point of view. When you drive a car and it doesn't stop turning inside out when you take a curve and sometimes need to restart a race something like 5 times to finish the first can you say the game has a good handling? We all know the answer. 43.gif

Ryder was a great character wasted - cool, good voice actor and didn't give a f*ck, he shouldn't have betrayed cj he should've been one of those guys who acts mean and tough but deep down a good guy who's just busting your balls

I think a lot of people agree with you that he died too early. I feel like he should have betrayed the Grove, because that fits his character perfectly, but I think he died way too early. I think he should have died in the return to Los Santos, and they should have made that section of the game a bit longer.

 

San Fierro is the best city there's just not enough to do there unfortunately

Agreed. It feels really nice to drive around. There's a weird cliff thing on the western shore of the island, I don't think many people know it's there, and it's really cool to see. Parachuting across to different buildings from The Big Pointy Building is fun too.

 

Bounce fm is the best radio station

I strongly disagree. Ryder seemed to be more down for Grove Street more than Smoke, the way he acts more passionate and down for the gang.. He only betrayed the gang because he was talked into it by Smoke and Tenpenny. Also, we all know Ryder ain't the brightest star in the spotlight. So he wouldn't betray the gang on his own. Someone would convince him into it.

 

 

Yeah. San Fierro had that breeze that seemed nice to cruise through. Plus is was rather fun to drive through the bridge

I think it was a good idea - it's the main part of the story. However, along with many other people, I think Ryder died too early.

The game didn't need 3 cities. Just Los Santos and a countryside would have been enough, bigger isn't always better.

Also SA is not an asset/empire focused unlike Vice City so we only get a small portion of that, ie; The Wang Cars showroom and the Casino heist.

And that's why it's a step backwards. I thought San Andreas was going to expand ​on it. Not water it down where only a couple of things matter.

 

Well, San Andreas is mainly focused on gangbanging. It wouldn't really make sense to have multiple multi-million dollar companies run by someone who also runs a gang in the ghettoes of Los Santos :p.

 

Thats not true though, only the LS part is focused on gangbanging. The rest of the game doesn't have much to do with it.

 

CJ already owned a lot of sh*t towards the end, a VC esque asset system would have made sense

I think Tenpenny's death was lame, we should've been the one who killed him, not the crash.

If CJ shot Tenpenny, the police would be all over CJ, hence why he probably didn't kill him before.

 

OT: I hated travelling around the rural areas of SA, especially with that annoying-ass egoistic feminist latina c*nt Catalina who still keeps calling CJ after she leaves with some annoying calls that mostly consist of "PIG, idiot, puta, I don't love you...".

I wish that we could have had hang outs with friends.

I know it sounds crazy but too dig deeper into the conversations of lets say Sweet, Ryder..*etc*

Especially after the story ends. One hang out with sweet.

Talking about those that betrayed, how the healing process or where they are about how things went down...Real brothers talking real sh-t. Just a wish & I imagine it could be unpopular opinion:/

I believe San Andreas has more land than actually portrayed in the game. More counties south and north.

 

I believe the state's population is about 300-400 thousand, given the lack of residences in the cities.

 

I think Santa Maria Beach, Rodeo, Jefferson, East Los Santos (the district), Willowfield, El Corona, and East Beach are completely independent from the city of Los Santos. And that Los Santos County has more areas further east and south.

I find all the flying missions to be the easiest missions in the game, that includes Zero's. Maybe because I like any video game that has aircraft in them, and it's the only thing I'm good at in the game.

-Tenpenny is a sh*t character to be honest.  He would not get anywhere near the amount of praise being voiced by an unknown. So unoriginal and cliched it's incredible.

 

-Fighting styles are stupid because CJ doesn't have the capacity to remember the ones he's learnt making them feel pointless so if you like one set over another you have to re-learn it again because it gets overridden. Really poor game design IMO.

 

-CJ looks like an idiot duel wielding and like above it's poor game design after this is unlocked that there's no option switch back to single handed.

 

-Though I appreciate the amount of clothing options I really think it could've done less with some of the ugly, gimmick like bullsh*t like snakeskin boots, cowboy hats, funny glasses etc in favour of clothing more suitable for CJ to actually wear. Quality > quantity.

 

-CJ becoming hungry is annoying and serves nothing for gameplay. I don't mind be able to purchase food from restaurants and such, but this mechanic has always left me scratching my head. It's like R* tried really hard to do something realistic, but it was executed badly.

 

-The initial Los Santos portion of the story is the only good part. After that it becomes a mess full of inconsistencies, poor pacing and ridiculous padding.

Owning companies would be more interesting if they regularly produced their income like in Vice City instead of having to wait close to the dollar symbol. When I go to a company I didn't visit for a while, generating up to 10 000$ per day and realizing it only produced 100$ always makes me frustrated.

Apart from the various programmes and commercials, I never (or avoid) listen to any of the songs on the radio, other than the first time upon release. I like to play the game without any music in the background, and this applies to every GTA.

I can tell you want it shouldn't have (What, I'm still on topic, I just added two more letters). It shouldn't have the really annoying hunger feature. I really just don't see how they made it through the planning without anyone realizing how silly and redundant it ended up being.

 

I get that games like to add more realism, and GTA SA was going to be a little more RPG style, but this is something that should only belong in a Sims game. Not even the best RPGs have a hunger system. It's just annoying for the player, and it doesn't make the game feel more RPG than you might think.

 

Exploring the map and all of a sudden CJ gets hungry. Having a firefight with the Cops? No sorry, CJ's belly is growling again. Actually roleplaying in the game, and then the hunger feature kicks in a ruins the scene. Yeah, it's a terrible idea, as much as it's my favorite game, I have to acknowledge these issues it has.

 

PS. Post was moved from the What GTA: San Andreas SHOULD have hence why some parts here don't make as much sense. Also, annoying text formatting will be annoying text formatting (I have no idea on how to fix the link making the rest of this text a link)

-The SF part was the most boring part of the all game.

 

-Cesar was a boring character so was Woozie.

 

-I never understood Truth's missions and why was he in the game. 

 

-Zero's missions were annoying and unnecessary just like Toreno's. 

 

-They didn't needed to put three cities, just a bigger Los Santos along with little bigger countryside would have been great.

 

-B Dup, Big Bear and Madd Dogg should have played a bigger role in the game instead of most of the characters like Zero, Toreno and Truth.

- Zero's missions are very challenging and fun to play. I don't get why people keep failing at Air Raid and Supply Lines... and even an easy No Man's Land. 

 

- Big Bear should play a big part in the game. R* could make him to follow CJ and Sweet when they are trying to kill Big Smoke.

 

- Cesar's missions are always races, pretty boring for me because i don't like race too much (and the fact that the races are easy to win).

 

- Ryder's part smh. My own plot that i've made is that Ryder will betray Grove Street, but instead of killing him, CJ just catch and torture him. After all, he confess that he was forced to follow Big Smoke to join the Ballas. He will then alongside CJ and Sweet kills Big Smoke, but then sacrifice himself to kill Tenpenny in the bridge. He could play a very big part in the game!

 

- K-Rose and K-DST are very good for traveling. WCTR maybe boring but i like to hear it while i driving in Las Venturas Highway. The 3 radi stations are good.

 

- Rockstar could make a mission based on the places like Las Barrancas, El Quebrados, or Bayside. These places aren't even in the storyline.

 

- Area 69 is the worst millitary place i've ever seen. There are no army there, and when we got there the polices try to catch us, not the army. 

 

- Toreno has a good storyline, but it could be pretty boring and even hard to pass, like Highjack and Vertical Bird. 

 

- Tenpenny is not the sh*ttiest character, i think B-Dup and Jizzy are the sh*ttiest characters. T-Bone is still a good character.

 

- I agreed with a person that has replied. When CJ is hungry, the gameplay isn't change at all, CJ can still run. Wtf lol.

 

Well, some of the mechanics maybe can't be made in the time where R* made GTA SA, so i can't complain more.
