Moderate Nat type affects gameplay ?

I have a moderate nat-type, wich *should* be fine, but can it possibly cause more network errors than a 'open' nat-type ? I'm on xbox and have NO CLUE ho to change my nat-type....

If your game works fine then leave it as is. NAT2 is fine unless you're trying to join someone with NAT3. Even then the other player using NAT3 would be the problem, not you.

 

If you really want to change to NAT1 your best bet is to google it and find an example using the same router you own.

It's better to have an open NAT type because you'll find more lobbies. Don't stress too much about it because you can still play fine without it, but change it to open if you can.

On PS3 simply hooking up your console directly to your modem would give you an open NAT. Idk if it works the same on CG consoles.

My nat-type magically changed to open (I did absolutly nothing) ,but now I can't log in to my xbox account

(Perhaps if I can log in again it goes back to moderate, wouldn't surprise me at all)

Don't ask,that is hell lol,I had that problem (NAT 3).You can forget on freemode,you are always alone in session,you can join in session if you have friend/crew there,but soon you are kicked from session with nice message "unknown network error,return to story mode...........".In jobs you get that error sometimes.
