I dont really like streaming bcs i am doing while modelling some more stuff like writing on social medias and watch some youtube videos in the background Which mostly always distracts me and then my family in the background too

 

But maybe i will do a stream when i have some more progress and iam alone at home, or maybe when i start a another region, it doesnt will take much time anymore.

 

I need to think about it a bit, but it is possible that I make a stream in the future

I agree with you that streaming is a bit of distracting while you trying to make some progress and people are constantly spamming in the background. Some sort of progress showcase on Youtube would be much more appropriate in my mind, but I am just fine with these screens that you give us every now and then. Hopefully we willl have another pic soon....

Just wanna give a small statement why i havent done much this time, not that some people think this mod died

 

I doesnt have that much time since i want to earn some money for my education next year later

 

anyway iam trying to work a bit on the scene everyday, some models are already imported by GTARandom but not the whole region yet

Yeah, discord would be useful for providing quick communication with other developers as well as players.

We are getting close to release the first region "creoul pass".
Only textures and some models needs to be finished.

Hey guys,

 

On our discord server, there is currently a big discussion if we should remove the GTA V map or not.

 

Before you come to wrong thoughts, no this discussion does not delay the release of creoul pass.

Why we see this whole thing as a legitimate problem is because this decision will impact the future of this mod drastically.

 

The problem is that a transition from our map to the GTA V map will be pretty hard, just because the GTA V map is meant to be an island and Rockstar Games never thought to extend it.

 

Especially the underwater world and the removal of the lighthouse and other problems later will make it completely complicated and it will cost a lot of time just to fit our map with the gta v one.

 

What people now see as a big problem is that at the beginning there will not be very much space for playing when creoul pass is released.

 

But since this map will be expanded more and more in the future, this is only a temporal problem, but it can change the future of this mod to the better.

 

So, starting a completely new Universe will make it for our mod team more easier to expand the map and we dont need to stick to the HD Universe.

We even have then more opportunities regarding map designing and all.

 

GTARandom even has already deleted the GTA V Map for a future version of ViceV, which we can use later

 

So, its up to you guys now.

If you aren't planning to make other areas islands, then it might be weird if only LS is an island.

Alright its kinda close with the vote.

But 3 more vote for yes.

 

I know it is for some now seeming to be a step backwards with deleting the GTA V map.

But you have to accept that Los Santos and Blaine County is an island and nothing else. R * had made no thought where now Northern San Andreas and everything should be located and that we must do it is simply completely nonsense. A new universe offers us much more possibilities and is a very great advance for the future.

Its only a stepback for the beginning.

 

Iam not responsible for the HD Universe so its better to make our own Universe.
