PSA: Pac Finale "Glitch"

So, a friend of a friend of mine who knows a friend of mine found out the following:

 

If you do the finale and the first host who was generous suddenly had connection issues at the end and then the co-host happens to come across the same problem, then the next finale you try to do will reset your heist.

 

It happened to him twice. Sad face.

So, maybe CHANGE your team when trying these finales. Also, check your internet connections.

 

Basically:

Don't attempt a finale twice with the same team (Swap finales). The bad sport points you get during the finale quit will now reset your heist.

 

So check your connections! Get a better provider or something because if you lose comnection at the end your heist will now reset.

Edit: I Have a Better Idea, Maybe someone will use Fat A** as a Wreckin' Ball and demo it to the Ground ... Hit 2 Birds with 1 stone type Deal ..LMAO.

yep, they trying to fix this, meanwhile its friday and very likely a new duping glitch gonna get posted today on that sinful forum hahaha

 

if i was R* i'd focus in preventing duping glitches from happening, instead they go for the pacstan, that while people are exploiting the game to be able to repeat the finale, atleast they still gotta play the mission.

I would laugh if that character transfer glitch thing came back. And people were saying that the glitch people were using was giving them trouble on the gtaglitches reddit. I haven't done heists since they had double payouts. Made most of my money from doing hundreds of high paying out jobs before they got there payout nerf. I don;t like that the glitch to replay the finale still exists so hopefully they fix it finally. Also if they removed us selling sentinels, dominators, and sandkings, that stupid duplication glitch better not be the reason why or I won't be happy.

Basically, only two reasons I've ever really played heists:

 

* Unlock heist vehicles and equipment

 

* With the Armored Kuruma method in PacStan, I felt like the money was a fair deal for the headache and frustration involved in all the setups, matchmaking, and fails (and to a lesser extent, Humane Labs).

 

With what R* has done recently, I honestly couldn't care less about heists anymore. Especially since they were 90% canned "play it our way" BS from the start, rather than "here's the final objective, be creative and go do it."

 

Until R* stops trying to micro-manage game play, they will never win the respect of their gaming community. Someone at R* clearly has control issues that extend beyond the aspect of financial profit.

Haven't done the repeat glitch for quite a while, so I can't confirm if the heist gets reseted. What I know is that a reset can randomly happen, although very rarely. Anyways, I just wanted to share a wall glitch nido997 showed us yesterday where you drive the bikes to a specific location, do a wheelie in order to glitch through the wall, and then drive to the Dinghy (also by doing wheelies).

Epileptics probably shouldn't watch this lol, just saying^^

lol Love it; even if only for the aspect of creativity in the wake of the Armored Kuruma's nerfing.

 

Where there's a will, there's a hole big enough in R*'s bug-ridden code to literally drive a motorcycle and its riders through.

 

 

Big lesson for R* here: stop nerfing what clearly should have been legitimate means of playing heists, or players WILL keep finding alternate ones.

i bet it will have ramifications but i doubt R* care, heist finales are already scripted for failure so it just adds one more thing to deter randoms from grinding them for quick cash.

Either way, disappointed to hear this news. I've done this glitch countless times with friends/randoms to help bring them out of poverty. It's easy/quick cash without much hassle. Works for all parties. But apparently that's a bridge too far.

It's the price we all must pay to make up for the degenerates who ruin online.

 

I don't mind the issue because it's a way to deter losers from doing the finale glitch repeatedly.

 

I say BRAVO. Make the losers redo the entire heist three times if they're intentionally dropping the connection so they can abuse the game and cheat like worthless individuals.

 

I'll forever believe that giving up individual rights in GTAO for the sake of online integrity and stability is worth weeding out the losers that ruin the game for everybody.

Want to wipe out all my outfits in order to remove glitched outfits in the game? Please do.

Want to make people redo entire heists because they intentionally turned off the console at the end of the finale? Please do.

Want to make the Hydra a worthless piece of crap because the degenerates in online have abused it to the point that free mode is broken? Please do.

Want to reset my bank account to zero along with everyone else's in the entire online database so that all glitched money will be removed? Please do.

 

Hell, I'd let Rockstar totally destroy and wipe my character and all my progress if I knew all modded and glitched money accounts were wiped along with mine.

 

As long as modders and glitchers are ruining GTAO, I say nuke the whole damn thing. These pieces of trash don't know how much legit players hate their existences. We don't want them online. We don't want them gaming. We don't want them on the internet.

 

Honestly, I want them incarcerated. In real life. In the 21st century, many, as in millions of people take gaming very seriously, and it is a very important part of their lives. Our happiness and our mental stability is constantly under assault by sociopaths playing video games online.

 

As long as these people still have access to online games, I believe in countering and eliminating them from our digital experience entirely, at all costs, up to and beyond us all having to give up everything we've done in the game.

 

Let's get serious about cleaning up online gaming. We can't let worthless people hold us hostage.

 

Report these pieces of crap all the time. I get $250,000 from Rockstar every time I make a legitimate report that gets somebody banned. (I'm not going to discuss or argue whether or not this happens. See for yourself. Next time you hear somebody using hate speech online, report them under the hate speech violation, and if you're quick and accurate about doing it, the next time you log on, you'll get the money notification. It's happened to me seven times now.)

When that happened to me (someone had a disconnect while we were inside the bank), it was only reseted back to PacStandard: Vans - and you get a cooldown of 45 minutes or so because the game "thinks" you've just completed the heist, so you can't instantly rehost PacStandard.

Ahh indeed. Appreciate the intel. Sucks that a disconnect in general triggers it (instead of limiting it to disconnects after getting in the Dinghy). Seems those who didn't intend to do the glitch and just happen to disconnect naturally will get caught in the net also (as you describe). But I guess in Rockstar's view a little collateral damage is worth it.

Missions got completely changed and payouts were altered and those were actually legit ways of making money. Meanwhile people abuse this heist thing for a long time now. Hopefully they expand from this and make more fixes to exploits in heists. I earned almost all of my money from doing missions legit while people are cheating money in heists. Them doing fixes like this now shows that they plan to keep updating the game for a long time. Why else would they do this and removing the armored kuruma after 3.5 years? Or they could have made it where if someone disconnects at the end of the finale that you would only get 75% of the payout from the first heist. People exploiting heists still get off lucky. Be glad you get to keep your full payouts unlike missions.

About this wall glitch thing. In the end of the day we earned 1.1 million by actually playing the mission in a probably slightly faster time (around six minutes left at the Dinghy in my vid). That's what I think about it. Did it hurt you?

No but rockstar is going to patch that wallbreach. Better keep doing it before they do. There probably scrambling in the office trying to fix it while a red flashing light and alarm are going off because its an emergency. Wallbreach and a money glitch combined my god there probably calling in the special forces to fix it as soon as possible. They stopped work on every possible project and are using the full team to fix it quicker. All future games are going to be delayed until they fix this gamebreaking thing. However if it were something to do with the new creator bug or fixing the faction they would ignore it. They always fix things related to money first before anything else. If the game isn't about money than shouldn't money glitches be fixed like anything else in the game? Just saying that people doing heists should stop finding new exploits and just play the heist like normal before they do something bad like lowering the payouts or add in more cooldown timers on things. I see them now letting you do setups like normal but adding a 12 hour wait time in between finales. Remember when you became a vip and if your time ran out or if you quit you had to wait 12 hours before being able to do so again.

When I accidentally lost internet connect right at the end of the heist and then doing it again with someone else it used to reset. But in the last couple of weeks it hasn't reset.
