What if Red Dead Redemption was a TV Show?

What if Red Dead Redemption was a TV show? How would it be the same and different? How many Seasons? What would Each Episode be called? How many Episodes per Season?

Whenever I try to imagine it, I think of the TV series Westworld from HBO, even though that obviously had the modern/robot aspect to it.

 

I think it'd make a good story to tell on a series, although for obvious reasons maybe it couldn't go past one season and would have to be a movie instead. The only reason I think it'd be cool to see on screen is because of how much we grew attached to John, we rooted for him even though he'd done terrible things in the past, seeing that on screen might actually be amazing.

 

Video game movies are notoriously bad though, so it be really hard to get right, and would probably never happen.

if red dead redemption was a tv show i would want it to have been made back in the 1950s or 60s. the best western shows were made back then.
