Does it matter to own the "SV" for Races ?

Or all the SV in races automatically maxed

No they are not, you can see that in ruiner races. But in the Voltic races it does not matter that much: The rocket gives the stock version the same acceleration.

It is now actually bugged, you cannot disable custom cars in Special Races. R* confirmed that they are aware of this and will fix it. But I think it makes a difference. On straights some guy was overtaking me like crazy in his custom Ruiner 2000, so yeah, it works just like normal races, but now due to a bug you cannot turn off custom vehicles.

You misunderstand- the OPTION to disable custom vehicles (an option that exists for all forms of racing) is broken. Rockstar is going to fix the OPTION. They're NOT permanently disabling custom vehicles.

Doesn't matter for the Rocket Voltic, does give you a slight advantage in Ruiner races, guaranteed win for Blazer. (All considering catchup is on)
