"Returning Players" content avaliable to everyone?

Hello guys. I have heard rumors that the "returning players" content is avaliable to everyone, but I cant confirm it as I am a returning player and had everything in the game before the update. Can someone who isnt a returning player confirm if this is true or false? Someone who know for sure they couldnt buy the content before todays update.

 

Some of the "returning players" content are the:

- Blista Compact (avaliable on Southern San Andreas Super Autos)

- Stallion (avaliable on Southern San Andreas Super Autos)

- Dukes (avaliable on Southern San Andreas Super Autos)

I remember a former person I played with found out that when you transferred from last gen, you got the "special edition" content.

 

He hit the roof.

 

He paid over $100 to get the exclusive goodies for the 360 version.

 

Wouldn't surprise me if R* at some point made them available to all. After all, there's money to be made! Exclusivity = less chance at profit especially now that transferring is over.

I could be that person. But the fact that I still own Collector's edition of GTA V with that amazing box, map and pouch is keeping me happy. R* will never take it away from me.

The returning player content including the DoD website descriptions are found in this update's global.txt. With the line about a Morbid Muscle Car from the newswire and transfers shutting down (giving even less of an incentive to have owned a past version of the game to play the prologue) I say it's a high possibility the returning player content will be dripfed along with the 3 unreleased cars and maybe they will make returning players get a discount or something.
