whywontyoulisten
What do you guys think about the headlights on this car? Are the pop-up headlights on the turismo classic better than the Infurnus classic? I wish there were fog lights like the Infernus Classic, cuz these are quite small imo. It looks like sleepy eyes. They look stupid; it's the texture from the semi-concealed original Ruiner (Nissan 300zx z31) lights, so should reveal a larger light when popped up. Instead, it just sort of half twists to cover up the fact that its too small.

Schumy7
Should only be able to paint this car in 4 colours. Red and at a push Yellow, Black or White. Sure, if you're really simple-minded and at a push don't know a thing or two about Ferraris... or anything. Shh, I want to experience the maximum outrage when I post a green one later.Trust me... red is the color.Yeah again if you're a cliché then to you all Ferraris should be red. It always amuses me when people who probably haven't haven't even researched about Ferrari think they're all supposed to be a certain color. Yeah, that's why Ferrari has dozens of unique colors to chose from and can have your car specc'd any way and color you want? Now why would they do that if the only real color was Rosso Resale- I'm sorry, Corse? Because it's not. I want to pimp slap the next fool who thinks all Ferraris should be a certain cliché color. coelacanth72
I did a little role playing with the Turismo. When I bought it I ordered it in red, and drove it around in (mostly) stock form for a week. When I took it to lsc, however, I changed up the paint to something as unferrari as possible (metallic carbon black with gas green pearl.) It seemed appropriate, with everything under the skin changed from factory spec, so too should the skin change. My .02, paint it how u like it and drive it like u stole it. That said, it's hard to keep red off this car...

mort1
I know this is an appreciation topic, but i feel someone has to say it. While i do love this car, for its performance and for its looks, the car really got no business being in the sport classic class. I know probably many here dont do sport classic races, but you have to own this car to be competetive, its that much better than the rest of its class. Its on the pace with some of the super cars, not kidding. Hope rockstar moves it to sports or something. Its not really a sport "classic" either, 80-90s cars cant really be called that. Pedinhuh
First I went for the classic red with red interior(like the real F40) with a black stripe and red engine block cover. But honestly, that's too much red, so I went a little nuts and liked the new result so far: JoonasPRKL, Lochstina and Forza Harrd

MechanicMammal
I love the car, and the F40 was a poster for me as a child and I also had the chance to ride in one my Uncle ran a car showroom when I was young and had one there for a short time during which we went for a spin (fastest I have ever been in a car) on a UK motorway. Overall the GTA version I love but there are 2 things I wish were different or you could modify,The rear window is the first I want a option of a vented clear plastic one, and the head lights I want 2 sets like on the real version lower set of indicators and lights and main beam pop ups. https://goo.gl/images/bhGY6O https://goo.gl/images/Q1v7zp They tried with the lights but it is a weird compromise. Hoss Soss
Its not really a sport "classic" either, 80-90s cars cant really be called that. Yes they can. In the United States a "classic" car is anything that is 25 years or older. F40's came out in 1987 and Testarossa's came out in 1984. Since these are the two cars most people agree the Turismo Classic are based on, let's split the difference for years and say that in the GTA world this car came out in '86, the time Vice City is set in. The current year is 2017, it has been 31 years since 1986. GTA Online is set in "San Andreas" California USA. In the world in which the car exists it is by law a classic vehicle. Antique is the word you're looking for. There's no legal definition of the term classic as it relates to automobiles. But most prestigious classic car organizations would go along with the 20-25 year mark, so long as the car was noteworthy.

There is actually a US law legal classic in that you can register the car with "classic" plates. This exempts you from certain US road rules. US law also has a provision for "antiques" in that for a car to be able to be registered with antique plates it must be at least 50 years old. Either way I'm sure your also right as far as privatized car clubs are concerned.

Not trying to pick on your because you're right in general, but classic still isn't the word... you can register it as a historical vehicle, or collectors, or recreational, which lowers your plate fees but also means you're not meant to drive it daily. (Although you probably won't get caught if you do). Classic is a term car lovers use. Like CAN get Classic car insurance, but that's provided by private institutions. I get lot of compliments from people about them when I have them out. Red one gets the most attention which is exactly what I wanted. But yeah, hard to paint them colours like green, blue or something.. I mean, guess blue looks good on it like some of those posted here but darker colours look really good on it. RollsReus1959
It is in the classic class. As the years go by older cars are fast for today's era. I was reflecting back on how my first car was an E36 M3 with 240hp. Fast forward today...high school kids can get an E46 M3 for the same price of what I purchased mine and get 333hp with top speed of 155. In a few years they will be in the E90s. To be fair they should have an antique class and buff the actual Classic cars. Edited April 12, 2017 by RollsReus1959
