Bug with the export of the car (I/E)

Hi

Since yesterday I've tried to make two sales of the vehicles in my facilities (I/E export) And each time, I paid for the transformation, but when I end and go out, the game teleport my player on the dock with no car, and when I go to my facilities, the car have disappears like if it was sales, but no money (since I've not make the delivery.) So.. I just lost the car and the price of the highest transformation option..

Does this happen to anyone else?

be careful when you sale a car.. I lost 2 100000$ cars this way..

Hasn't happened to me in a while but it used to be a problem.

 

Try being a bit more slow on the buttons in "Wheels" and letting it sit for a second before finishing up. I think it might be a button mashing issue.

 

If it happens, leave the session, don't try again in there.

New to me, not had or seen it... But occasionally when leaving my MC clubhouse (the cheap one near Harmony/Route 68) it spawns me by the docks, right next to Simeone's car delivery garage instead, game needs a real good bug fix DLC, I feel most would accept a day or 2 off for maintenance or something, just clean a few things up before adding new bits this spring/summer...

yeah this has happened a couple times with my crew in the first weeks of i/e... same as you described. we would modify the vehicles and spawn outside, some of us have cars and the ceo might be on foot or something might even get stuck on infinite loading screen. the vehicles always disappear from your inventory if you attempt to close app, switch sessions ect.. this usually happens in large buggy lobbies and i doubt r* will ever fix it.

Had that issue 3 times with 3 cars in loss. Session change solves that problem.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't really want to play the russian roulette everytime I sell a car btw.. imagine that you try to export a collection of 4 cars and no ones spawn ..

It's rare, thankfully. If the lobby is spazzing out for you (jumping traffic etc) maybe switch as a precaution.

Had this issue a while back. It's quite annoying as you lose the car too. But yeah, as mentioned, switching sessions usually solves the problem.

Send a ticket to Rockstar, tell them exactly what happened.They give you the cash you "lost" (or otherwise you'd have earned by delivering the lost vehicles).

It only seems to affect top-end cars. It's happened to me half a dozen times, and every time it cost me $80k. What an odd coincidence

Never happened to me, thankfully. What platform did it occur on? Were you playing in a crowded lobby, or all alone _{as you should}?

Happened to me with a collection. Rockstar support was f*cking useless. Got my money back with intrest from the Elegy Retro Custom if you know what I mean

I sent a complaint to R* about the same issue and I got my money back within a day.

 

I was instructed to first clear my game cache (Hold R1+L1 during load screen and when done right you will need to adjust brightness and accept agreement etc again), then they gave me 225k. I lost 5 cars but atleast I got some stuff back.

I got 4 different support agents and 5 messages to provide a list of what was lost and when. Which i made clear in the OP and 4 messages saying they were unable to verify the loss claim after review of the account. Which is bullsh*t unless they cant track I/e warehouse contents and for some reason were looking for PVs even though I made everything clear down to the exact time to the minute i started the sale and it spawned us outside without the collection.

I always fly through the menus to get back out on the street as soon as pos.

I got the "spawn outside in your car but you can't move" bug yesterday, another car down the drain.

 

Again, these bugs only happen when the "failed to save" icon pops up while modding. Best advise I can give when this happens is shut down the application so you don't lose the car or wait for the "saving successful" icon to appear before the timer runs out.

This happened to me once in a solo session, so this has nothing to do with connections and rather about the game being an unstable jumbled mess of code.

 

I was supposed to deliver a Tyrus, so I customized it and got ready as normal like I do for every Top Range delivery, but I suddenly spawned outside after the screen turned black with my Tyrus being no where to be seen. It told me to get into the Tyrus with the blue text and everything, but it was nowhere on the map nor was it around me.

 

I heard of this happen before, and the simple solution would be to report it to Rockstar and switch session. I wanna know what happens if you got into the same situation but left the timer run out first.

On ps4 the only time it happened to me is when the game failed to save. Spawn outside can't move or do anything.

I'm om ps4 and I had it once happening to me. Car diappeared once outside the warehouse after done the specialist buyer costumizing. But it didn't teleport me to the docks

btw the docks are where the warehouse interior "really" is, underneath the map there, hence spawning there when things go tits up.

Happens to me yesterday on ps4.

Two cars gone.

 

Where do you contract rockstar to get a reply on the issue?

If many report this maby they can fix it.

Had some issues with cocain resupplie also.

Lost about 6-8 cars this way to date. Completed the overhaul, the proceed to export and black screen with turning white circle in the bottom.. Then I hear the sound of the garagedoor opening. Black screen away and my character is outside the garage. No car to be seen. Not outside, nor on my computer...

 

Like some already said: Be slow during last fase of the overhauling (so wheels). But nonetheless that, I even managed to lose two cars, while keeping that in mind... I opened a ticket, but haven't heard back... After a few cars, I didn't bother anymore. Luckily the 250K gifts more than compensated for my losses...
