Looks like a regular McLaren F1. The Tyrus is an F1 as well, but it's a LongTail version.

1996 McLaren F1 GTR or possibly just the Standard F1 with modifications to make it look more like the GTR. The Tyrus is based on the 1997 F1 GTR so it's nice to see this here too.

I'm really excited for this car. The T20, Itali GTB and Tyrus are 3 of my favorite cars in GTA V. I'm sure this new McLaren will be equally satisfying.

Basically a stock Progen Tyrus. From the first look of it, I'd buy it almost immediately - if I wasn't banned in the first place.

This ain't gonna happen, unless the new Progen is another victim of drip-feeding and hackers are able to spawn it before its official premiere. And when it happens, it's not classified as a high-end vehicle - similar to the Itali GTB and Nero before they were out - if I'm correct.

At first I thought the GP1 was some fake photoshop bs for a clickbait video, but then I checked News section and was blown away!

It could max out at 50 mph and I will still buy that.

Really excited for this car. Now I can make my Tyrus a true race car with the Debonaire/Gulf livery and the GP1 as a stock F1.

Really seems like this will be a 3 seater!

If so, I'm bidding farewell to my T20, it finally found a worthy replacement.

The headlights and front look a bit like the MP4-12C

A lot of the styling on the 12C was designed to be reminiscent of the F1 as that was their only previous roadcar. It's similar to how the first-gen Viper shares a lot of details with the AC Cobra MkIII as they were going for a spiritual successor with that one too.

Why not both? You can't have an F1 without a P1

I find the 3-seater aspect weird and I won't doubt that Rockstar will keep it as a 2-seater, but if it does end up enabling 3 people to sit inside, then this would be the perfect Singleplayer vehicle.

The. Perfect. Singleplayer. Vehicle.

Excited for that one, might pick it up. Especially if it's customizable at Benny's

Haha, the central steering wheel is what i looked at first. Phew, Rockstar didn't missed out on dat one.

Tho it doesn't look really super-duper-great, waiting for the rear photo.

A 3-seater would need bespoke animations and code to handle, so I really doubt it will be. I suspect the driver in the photo is on the left, but just has an odd seating position like in the 811 where most players barely peep over the dashboard.

Always hated the long tail on the tyrus. Let's hope the back on this one looks good too then we got a winner :D

Was saying only the other day that if I'd been designing the Tyrus, I'd have gone with the LM and not the GTR 'Longtail', because that's my personal favourite of the F1s...

Looks like it's even got the central driver's seat, too - and it seems R* put one of their better vehicle designers/modellers on it, because not only does it look recognisable, but it's also nicely-detailed and finished in-game.

I don't care if it winds up being an underwhelming mid-tier super, or has the same borked suspension as the Faction - I'm still buying this sucker on Day 1, because dayum.

I dunno if I will buy one... I got Tyrus already filling my F1ness in the game.

If one can remove its spoiler, unlike on the Tyrus then I see myself getting it and selling Tyrus.

Not sure what's going on with the doors there. The car looks cool though.

They're probably going to be butterfly doors.

Am I late to the party? Are we getting a new car?

A few new cars including a classic Turismo and classic Infernus. Also this car, the Progen GP1 which is pretty much the street version of the Progen Tyrus. Tyrus is McLaren F1 LongTail used on race tracks and the GP1 is the McLaren F1 LM, which is the street version. Edited by AlphaSierra111996
